Two Trees Management

It's heartbreaking to leave a two-star review after living here for so long. Yesterday I received a noise complaint for the first time from one neighbor who just moved in. Mariana from the management office reached out and was genuinely trying to help resolve the issue. As per our discussion, I sent a video clip from my piano keyboard and a photo proof of the volume (it's set to 3/10 and is not any louder than normal TV volume).

First thing in the morning I phoned the management office, and got the most cold-blooded and irresponsible response from Derek Katz, the property manager -

Mercedes house has been unbelievably accommodating and professional when it comes to arranging leases, coordinating gym memberships, and being an all around fantastic building with amazing staff. Maintenance is super quick and the building is incredibly clean. Also if you get the opportunity to work with Mariana in the leasing office - she is incredible and rest assured you can trust she'll get the job done and handle business. Would most definitely recommend this building.

Manager and staff really do seem to care and will work with you on anything. Their hearts seem to be in the right place.

Had a 1200 appointment to tour and see units. We Arrived at 12:12 and the rude woman at the desk in the leasing office impolitely told us we were past our "10 minute grace period". There was no mention of any grace period when we made the appointment online or when a person called to confirm. She said that there was someone else coming at 1230 and it would be rude to make them wait because we were late. I said that we would be happy to take an abbreviated tour and leave by 1230. The woman made no attempt to accommodate us, offer another time etc., instead scolding us about "the

New doormen stuff is horrible! I never ever had problems with delivery! Today the doorman was extremely RUDE!!! Which is not acceptable!!! I totally agree with other reviews about front desk. This happens more than once! I pay for the service and I do want to get an appropriate service not what I've experienced today! And the doorman kept saying go to the management office if you have problems! Is it normal? When the staff keep arguing with you and showing attitude? Very disappointed!

We had an appointment to view 1 bedrooms. We show up and have to re-fill out a form with all of our information that we've already given online contact form, by email, and via phone. We show up for our appointment 15 mins early and the leasing agent says he can't show us any 1 bedrooms but he can reschedule. This is after we have already arrive. Is this a code phrase for you're younger than I expected?

I'm sure if people could give less than 1 Star they would. STAY AWAY FROM MERCEDES HOUSE. A Mercedes automobile is reliable. MERCEDES HOUSE IS NOT. Major bait and switch operation going on here. Photos of apartments up on top of the building showing views and nice appliances and brand new floors. When you go to see apartments they show you AWFUL apartments on lower floors. With junky cheap worn out appliances and worn floors. Broken cabinets & dirty bathrooms. & one unit that is Looking out at the industrial units for the AT&T building next door. I just moved out of Mercedes House, and I am incredibly disappointed with the way management treats its tenants. And for the price we paid to live here, I would have hoped to be treated better than cattle. Unfortunately, management is only interested in moving its tenants in and out of the units like ground beef. Rent-paying ground beef.

Work orders take literally months to resolve - IF anyone even bothers responding to your request in the first place. Our apartment had issues with the bathroom vents malfunctioning since the day we moved in. The fans in the ventilation shaft did not work, and

We lived in the Mercedes House for a year now.
The building is very clean and the staff is very friendly.
The Mercedes House management is very attentive and supportive especially the Building Manager Jacqueline. I highly recommend them.

Walls are paper thin!!! You can hear everything your neighbours are doing. Blinds don't block any light so it's hard to sleep at night.

You also don't get any amenities, you are just paying for your apartment, the gym is subsidised but you still have to pay, there is no communal space. The building opposite is substantially cheaper I would look there if you want to be in the area. A 2 bed 2 bath is cheaper than a 2 bed 1 bath in Mercedes house.

Maintenance and front of house are excellent but overall overpriced. Get the basics right!

Just moved in here and can say it has been one of the best weeks of my life. I moved from Southern California and have such an easy transition because of the people that are employed by MH.

I lived in the building for 5 years and just recently moved (we purchased a house in the suburbs for the school system, otherwise we would have stayed as long as possible).

The 2.5/5 stars is a head scratcher for me.

The doormen, better known as my friends, are second to none. After a long trip or hard day at work, I was always greeted with a smile. They made an effort to build a relationship with me, my wife, and my son. Thank you Jon and Victor.

Mercedes House is a scam, no matter whether they call it Instrata Mercedes House or Instrata Hell's Kitchen. Changeing the name doesn't make them less shameful of themselves. I lived in an apartment at Instrata Hell's Kitchen for a year, and I never want to deal with Instrata again.

Lived here for a year in a 1BED 1BATH corner unit. I have lived around in several buildings becoz I have had to move around for various reasons. This is by far the BEST service I have ever received. The handy man is available all days a week which is a huge deal...

We had invited friends for dinner in peak summer time and felt that our AC was not cooking enough, we were contemplating calling the handy man coz we dint want to be in the middle of AC change when the guests arrive. But it was getting so hot that we eventually had to, and they changed in literally 10 mins.....
