Fuji Mountian Hibachi & Sushi

Fresh spring eggrolls were filled with cabbage and a thin piece of shrimp. No effort in making them presentable or edible. Sushi here is mediocre - it's worth the drive going into the Springs or Denver for quality sushi.

We've been here before and really enjoyed the hibachi- both the food and experience. My wife and I went in for sushi and when we sat down, the waitress was unpleasant. We assumed it was a busy night and continued ordering- appetizers and a roll along with sesame chicken. The two tables that sat after us got their food, we tried to get the waitresses attention and she ignored us. We finally asked about our order after 45 minutes and said if it was not available to simply cancel it. After about 5 minutes she walked over and said "I cancel it"- no apology, no other comment. 6 Dec 21- had reservations for eight of us to celebrate Zeke's 17th birthday. This is our favorite Hibachi restaurant because not only is the food delicious but the service is excellent also. Even though it was crowded with two full tables next to us and two people in our group that were a little late getting there the service was still fantastic. I had the filet mignon with chicken and fried rice my husband had the chicken with shrimp with white rice. The cook was great and so were the portions. Brought my leftovers home. Highly recommend this Hibachi restaurant!

The 3 star rating for Fuji Mt. is pretty spot on. Nothing spectacular going on here but nothing necessarily bad either, especially considering this spot is in the middle of absolutely nowhere!

I met a friend here for lunch and it was DEAD. No one else in this place except us, which I did not hate at all! We ordered quite a bit of sushi and it came out to us pretty quickly, which was nice... But over all, it was, it was well, fine.

This is a sushi place where I reverted to only eating their Chinese food options over the past couple of years. Their sushi is.....THE WORST. Out of desperation, I ordered some sushi for takeout a couple of weeks ago and the reasons I had stopped ordering sushi there all came rushing back. The fish quality is bad....the flavor is just not right on their tuna or salmon....I wonder if they actually use sushi rice for their sushi. And...it's not cheap. Had an early dinner...I had scallop teriyaki dinner with spicy scallop sushi....absolutely wonderful...the wife had dinner box A...beef teriyaki..shrimp and vegetable tempura and California roll...half is going home with us...soup and salad come with both...certainly will be coming back

Everything was very average. The noodles meat and all was average. The salad dressing was very good though. The appetizer of chicken tempura was just plain and bad.

I don't typically take the time to review restaurants...but this place is NASTY!!! We've ordered from here a few times before and have never been thrilled with the food. But tonight it was disgusting. So bad that I'm taking the time to post this review. The sushi was awful. The orange chicken was inedible. The pad Thai tasted like actual cardboard. It was horrible. Horrible. And the staff didn't seem to care. Don't eat here. It was so bad.

Unfortunately, this was not what I expected and I don't think I would come here again. I came from Colorado Springs because I had a craving for teppan prepared food and this came recommended. The food was mediocre at best. The rice was wet and not what I would have expected for something coming off a teppan grill. The meat was flavorless and salty. Always love coming here! Excellent service, amazing food, and a great atmosphere. We always come here for Hibachi and love the experience everytime! Today we came for lunch and I was so blown away by the amount of food we got for $10! I couldn't not finish the whole plate. The Hawaiian roll is the best roll i've had in a long time! I always recommend this place. Their servers are the sweetest and always make this place a pleasurable experience

Take out order was incomplete, 3 orders sat on the table by the front desk for over 5 minutes while staff seated new arrivals and took new phone orders.

When I got home, I found that my wife's meal was not in the bag.

Called to talk to manager who I heard in the background saying she would not talk to a customer. Apparently they just don't care, so after years of being loyal customers, we are now former customers.

I wanted to give 5 stars but they forgot my salad dressing I didn't realize until I got home. However the food was great!

We live in Monument so this place is very convenient. I tool my 18 and 7 year old girl there for sushi and had a great waitress last week. Service was good and she was very friendly.

Today for my Birthday, I pocket this and took my wife. It was like a different vibe. Waitress was terrible and not once came by to ask how everything was, refill water, or ask if we wanted more wine. First impressions are hard to overlook. I was surprised at how dirty the hibachi grill was. We have dined at the grill countless times, but I haven't ever seen the grill that dirty. The food taste varies from chef to Chef. This time, chef's flavoring was a little on the peppery side for my taste, but some people like pepper. It's hard to predict which chef you'll get so you don't ever really know what the outcome will be. There really are some chefs that season better than others. Overall, if you're looking for a dining experience, it is fun to have your meal prepared

I used to go here years ago and really enjoyed it. I wasn't on Yelp then (or perhaps it didn't exist), but I was a regular. I even went one time on Christmas Day! I went back last week and enjoyed it again. There were lots of kids though there during lunch-- I guess kids love Hibachi. Service is speed and food is tasty!

There are a lot of low-star reviews and I'm just not sure why. Maybe this place is hit or miss and I caught it on a good night? I can think of no reason to give it less than 5, and here's why.

I attended with a large group (about 20 people). We sat at 1 entire hibachi table and even had to bring in some extra chairs and squeeze together to fit everyone. Despite the huge group on a Friday night, service was quick and accurate.
