I would not use their services ever again and will not recommend, rude representative and playing tricks with my mind so I ended up just paying 200.00 fine plus what they had charged me to represent my case, extremely disappointed. Poor representation. Will be driving to the speed limit to avoid any further unnecessary loss of time and money and poor customer service. Or will sure go to another law firm.

Disappointed in their work ethic. I called them twice before my court date because I am in the military and would not be able to attend as I am on orders. Both times they told me to submit the orders to them. Once I did, they emailed back to call them when I was ready to move forward with the motion of continuance. I honestly thought everything was good to go. As someone who isn’t well versed in their terminology, I assumed I should call them when I was back in town and ready to go to an actual court date. My court date came and they sent a lawyer to this court date and I was issued a warrant

Disappointing, I paid $100 for my ticket dismissal and after 4 months finally, I got a notice from the court “Nonappearance show cause notice”. During all this time no one contacted me or send any mail regarding my case I finally decided to pay my ticket because I don’t want to get arrested. The unprofessional communication lady on phone was rude and said there is no refund of your $100.

I hired Gilligan Law Firm , after i paid them they emailed me a Receipt and email said that they will send a Letter of Representation to Court, guess what... i am getting letter from Court about my Court day, which is strange... i called Gilligan.. nobody is picking phone any more... i sent them e-mail... no respond... I hired Gillian Law firm to handle my traffic ticket back in June of 2020. I made it clear that all I wanted to do was to get this resolved ASAP without having it go on my driving record. They said they could handle this for a nominal fee and I paid them for this service. About 3 weeks later I was told the case was continued due to Covid 19 and I would have to go to court in Aug of 2020. He did take my case the same day I had court, I had to pay $75 instead of the $50 it should have cost because of this. Anyway I got there at 8am, he came around about 9:45 am and told me that they do the cases with the videos at the end because they handle the ones without first. 12 came around.... he came out and gave me options! The same options I could of gotten without a lawyer. My advice would be to go without a lawyer and if the officer doesn't show up dismissed! If not they give you the same options as if you had a lawyer. Never again

I will use Spencer Gilligan again! I got two tickets, speeding and improper lane change. This means if I don't fight it I get two tickets on my record, points on my license, can't take defensive driving and my insurance goes UP! So I hired Spencer. The Lady who answered the phone was very nice and very helpful - she explained everything. I received excellent communication from the them throughout. Court date arrives I'm on time with no worries. After a little legwork, I decided to use Gilligan without much in the way of expectations.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the efficient rescheduling and easy to understand communication from them at every step.
Day of court comes, judge takes roll call and still no lawyer. As I'd actually ready my email and letter from them, I wasn't particularly nervous. 5 minutes later I meet my assigned lawyer whose first words to me are

This law firm is a joke. Do not use then for anything.
They tell you one thing and do another. After being assured reminders would be sent - they never were and a year and a half later after many resets a date was missed. Their remedy is to pay again to get their services when they don't hold up their end.
Pretty much called me a liar and then put me on hold when asked to speak with someone else. After 7 minutes on hold someone picked up the phone and hung up on me.

Ignore their marketing letters or calls, you are better off paying tickets & getting defensive driving course. They just want their fees for showing up. They can not get a ticket dismissed! I paid them and took course. Attorney will show up and present you with the same options that normally clerk will, you will be paying them money for wasting your time.

Spencer has always done a good job for me. He's informative and polite, and in my experience he his office staff has been similarly helpful.
I am really interested at some of the other reviews, as their experiences have really been the opposite of mine. I have been in the court many times (I am a habitual speeder and I don't care to stop) and each time I have been dismissed. Sometimes I am dismissed early, sometimes much- MUCH later. That's the price you pay to have that Lead food Louis.
I have used Spencer ~5 times and will continue to use him. He's a good 'ole boy
