Similar experience as Coy S. Shelled out 30k, worked over by other lawyer. Extremely bad accounting, they left invoices open just to say I had debts, then paid on those leftover invoices (from awarded attorney fees) in increments of $24 here and 1.38 there.
Making it almost impossible for someone who works 40 hours to trace.
They know this and took full advantage.
I'm still owed 5k from the opposing party that's missing. (Don't ever agree to have opposing party pay awarded attorney fees, to your lawyer, in a judgement, no matter what).

Not a very good experience. Did not get value for money spent. The Company promised that whether I had a foreign country service or not, the Father would have to pay support to the child. That gave me hope only to find out that the Company was only interested in money. Spent all my deposit telling me they were studying the Order only to abandon me on my Court date resulting in the Court throwing out my order (cos I had no representation, even though Angela Faye Brown had cashed in my cheque on the same day but abandoned me in Court by not showing up). I just wanted to let everyone, ( especially fathers), who is having trouble with visitation, custody, or family law issues, know that what Angela, & her team did for me and my son was short of a miracle! After a very long 7 years of trying to see my son, Angela did what two other law firms could not, I was finally able to not only see my son, but I was granted primary custody of my son! Call my exes lawyer J Randal Grimes instead, he worked me over. My 4 lawyers during this custody battle not once stood up to him in front of the judge. As mentioned in another review they tried to charge me to get the new lawyers up to speed, I fought it and they backed off. Waisted about 30k just to get shafted. Continuous false hopes while I shelled money out left and right. Even took the time to google his number for you: 512-930-3074. Good luck

Everyone has different situations, but I was very disappointed with the service I received from Angela especially considering the rates she charged me. I felt so helpless that ended up switching to a new lawyer which slowed down my case. The new lawyer I hired gave me more hope in three days than Angela did in two months.

There are so many good things about this attorney, it's hard to list them all. For one thing, she does the unheard of and charges a flat fee. This is highly unusual, but very advantageous to her clients. Attorneys live and die by billables. Meaning hours. Meaning...they rack up every time the client has a question or brings their attorney new info. Attorneys tend to lob "bombs" at the opposing, and then opposing throws a bomb back, and soon the fees are exorbitant, the client is broke, and the attorneys are highfiving each other on the golf course.
