Dan Romeo has over 30 years' experience in construction having started his own general contracting business in 1986. He often worked with residential owners to complete extensive additions and remodeling projects and he has built homes from the ground up as well. Dan has completed all necessary requirements to perform home inspections in Pennsylvania and is licensed to inspect homes in Ohio.
A home inspection is an objective visual examination of the physical structure and systems of a house, from the roof to the foundation. Having someone who is certified and trained to recognize potential problems that might not be noticed by a casual observer will provide peace of mind. Nothing "fails" a home inspection.
Water testing is done for homes with a private well. Depending on the type of loan, water testing may be required prior to lending approval. NOTE: In Ohio local/county health departments are responsible for testing and examining wells. If bacteria is discovered, disinfecting your well by "shocking" (chlorine use) may fix the issue.

Daniel was excellent. Daniel performed our home inspection on our new house that we are purchasing. Daniel is a local inspector, I would recommend him to anyone in the Lawrence County PA area. I called several other inspection businesses that were recommended by my realtor. Those other inspectors were more expensive on every option that we requested, would have taken longer and were not personable. Daniel himself answered the phone, gave me a quote and was available any day that I needed him to come out. He was very down to earth on the phone and in person. He notified me when he was ready for
