"Visiting CT and needed a tow. Used Lone Star - not just for towing - but TLC specialty towing. Ramp/Flatbeds for an older low to the ground sports car, low ceiling garages with tight access, and towing across the county. Requested them by way of AAA. They were quick, careful with the car, and great on the service and communication. I highly recommend them. You have a choice (even when you call AAA). IMHO Choose Lone Star."

Fulvio has been doing our work for years and him and his guys never fail to disappoint . From the first call until we are safely off the road his team flawlessly handles any job we give them. I kept breaking down every other day for over a year. I had brought the car to numerous service stations and dealerships and replaced numerous batteries but still kept breaking down. I called Triple AAA and they sent Lone Star Repair Service to tow the car. This was the best thing that could ever happen! The driver was so professional and suggested that their mechanic took a look. They kept the car for a few days and found a simple problem that has been fixed ever since. It has been running perfect now for 6 months. I highly recommend this friendly and reliable service station.

The customer service our company received was outstanding. My boss is not easily impressed, but this time he was. From the polite voice of Kim who answered the phone and our questions, Frank the manager who made things happened and Joe the mechanic who went out of his way to make sure our truck was fixed in no time and Fulvio's efficiency sending our invoice via email and the driver who went to give us a jump start. They were also flexible with several methods of payment. Thank you Lone Star for the good old fashion customer service.

Had a disagreement with this company over towing from private property. Unfortunately the property management didn’t notify their tenants and lone star hooked my car up. Originally charged me $150 but called and spoke to the owner Phil who is a real down to earth guy and he refunded half my money. I understand I have to take some responsibility because it was not Phil’s fault he was called there. Might even have my car serviced here now that I know he’s honest.

Battery and alternator on my car stopped all of sudden in the middle of road. I called AAA and they sent me a Lone Star tow truck. After the stressful moments I went through I was very pleased with the treatment thatJoel the truck driver gave me. He gave me a ride home and my car was taken to the Lone Star shop. Next morning after my searching around for prices with other car dealers I decided to take a chance with Lone Star as their prices were pretty reasonable. I received a good and fast service and was very well treated. I just don't give them five stars because their reception lounge

Absolutely should be SHUT DOWN by the State of Connecticut. Predatory, dishonest, and careless. These people will lie and cheat to get a billable tow out of someone. I had a HORRIBLE experience with them over a year ago, and was so angry I saved the receipt just so I knew who to leave a review for once I got home, and as I just came across it I'm posting. I'm a mechanic of over 20+ years with my own repair station who was in the unfortunate situation where I crossed paths with them and was completely ripped off. Not because of rules, signs, or some misunderstanding- intentionally

STAY AWAY FROM LONE STAR! These guys are PREDATORY.
I was towed for parking illegally in a private parking spot at 66 summer street. I was only parked there for a short time so I thought I would be fine, but I was towed 2 minutes before I came out to my car. They told me it would cost $200 over the phone if I picked it up the next morning which was the next time they opened.
Next morning I took a Lyft to Lone Star, asked for help and didn't receive a response, they were all eating lunch and just left the room and acted like they didn't see me when they saw me coming in. Finally 15 min

I had to call AAA for battery service tonight. Joseph arrived within 30 minutes. He was so nice!!! Actually all the guys who have helped me when I've called AAA are awesome!!! He tested the battery and luckily… it was just the six year old battery and not the alternator :) Joseph installed the new battery and my car is running again. Thank you to Joseph and to everyone else who has helped me over the years!!!

NEVER NEVER USE THIS TOWING COMPANY!!!! My 22 year old daughter was stuck on 95 in Connecticut, called AAA and they sent this company out to tow her to her destination. We were quoted a price of $129.00 by AAA but when LONE STAR got there, saw she was alone, they tried to make her PAY PRIOR TO TOW (against the law) and DOUBLED the fee to more than $300.00. Scared, my daughter called me and asked me to speak to driver. Driver refused. He then told her that if she didn't pay in advance, he would leave her on the side of the thruway. Drivers beware!!! This company is unlawful and unscrupulous
