I lived in Lewis Manor in the early 80's. I was 20 and it was my first apartment: facing the building, top apartment, on the right. Spacious, clean, beautiful suite with non-working fireplace. Painted kitchen cupboards - made it mine. Everything I had was brand new. Got a job at the Cleveland Clinic, so it was a quick commute. I've worked there now for 35+ years. LOVED nearby Coventry and Little Italy. Mama Santa's, Grum's, Tommy's, Irv's Deli. Museums, music scene, culture, culture, culture. Many fond memories. My job, with its diverse workforce, and where I lived expanded my life experiences

I would never recommend anyone staying here. If I could give this apartment complex 0 stars, I would. The rent is ridiculously high when there's absolutely no utilities included in your rent. There is no A/C in the apartments, hallways, or common areas. You would die of a heat stroke if you used the gym or laundry room. The laundry rooms are also at an additional expense and never work properly. I was drowning in sweat trying to pay the laundry machines.
The office is never open during their supposed open hours and no one ever answers the phone.
The building looks nice and has this old style

Do not live here.
I am a medical student at one of the neighboring schools and this place is terrible. I agree w all the complaints above and just add that the communication from management is atrocious.
As an example, the ONLY machine that can reload the laundry card is broken. No notification when it’ll be fixed or when it broke in the first place. The only other place you can reload the card is at the main management center 15min away which is ONLY open during business hours. Your only other option is to go to a laundromat.
If you are a case medical student especially do not bother. It’s

My experience living here so far has been wonderful. Devyn, the property manager, has been there to help since day one. Every member of Capital Properties Management staff, from the leasing office to maintenance, has been very pleasant to deal with. The apartment building itself is well maintained and if something does go wrong, you can usually get someone to come take a look within a few hours. Very glad I decided to live here!

I had a great experience living at the Lewis Manor Apartments. The units are very cute and I really enjoyed the 1920's architectural details. The place is clean and the CPM team is very responsive.

TERRIBLE! Stay away from anything under CPM. Fortunately, Cleveland Heights Housing Authority is incredibly responsive and issuing them citations. They're abusive, rude, and unresponsive.

Overall, LM is not a horrible place to live. But for the price it could really be better. I have had MICE in my apartment twice so far. The first time was in January. After I called the office they told me it was not an emergency and they would get to it when they get to it. SO I bought traps myself and caught two mice , one of which i disposed of myself. Fast forward to August and I have mice again. My apartment is very clean and I do not keep any open food in my kitchen (everything is in containers and properly stored away). They deal with this situation by placing sticky traps in my kitchen
