Carmel Drug Store

I adored visiting this shop on vacation. My visit was 2 years ago in July. I loved their selection of up market soaps and cosmetics. You can't find these at a typical drugstore!. Now, this was pre-lockdown. Home delivery they advertised to Carmel-by-the-Sea residents only was over the top service!

Service was out of this world! Got the personal touch and felt like a guest instead of a tourist/customer. Two years later I am still enjoying the products I purchased based on solid recommendation!

Conveniently located with everything I was looking for without the hassle of waiting in line to drop off and pick up my prescription. So happy to discover this local gem! ( PS- they deliver if you don’t want to make the trip!)

Carmel Drugstore is a rare treasure. Since switching from CVS to Carmel Drugstore 5 years ago, there has not been one mistake on prescriptions or deliveries. Caring and friendly staff are truly superior professionals and never confused by long and/or complicated orders. This small store is packed with many high quality items that can't be found at big, chain drugstores, such as Mason Pearson brushes. New Yorkers will find Carmel Drugstore much like the old Cambridge Chemists (before the move to Lexington Ave.) in the relaxed neighborhood vibe, knowledgable and helpful staff and attention to detail

Just the best of everything- a wonderful page out of the past when a drunk store was a garden of human needs and delights. For me it’s a reason or excuse to visit Carmel

They refused a disabled women from filling a prescription because it would be "too much trouble". The pharmacist actually told me he wouldn't do it for my lowly one prescription for delivery, which they've done before.
A complete lack of caring and a loss of a customer since 2015.

A very nice drug store! My mum had sprained her ankle when climbing rocks in 17miles. But people there had gave us some effective medicine to make her feel better. People are sooooo nice and caring!
