Highest quality of instruction from Certified Teachers who bring a wide range of education and experience. Director offers continuing education and extracurricular classes for teachers and students. Suzanne has been involved in health and wellness for almost 40 years, with degrees in Physical Education, Biology, and Counseling.
You don't have to be fit and flexible to do this yoga. A certified instructor will show you how to try the right way and guide you to explore your personal edge. HOT Yoga can be used to complement other forms of exercise, promoting elongation (thus efficiency) of muscles, counteracting impact trauma to the joints, improving core strength, and increasing lung capacity.
The Traditional 26 & 2 Series (Bikram Method) is the original, challenging, 90-minute workout that improves physical strength, flexibility and balance while enhancing mental clarity and focus. The practice is a sequence of 26 postures and two breathing exercises performed in a heated environment. The heat improves circulation, helps to eliminate toxins and significantly reduces the risk of injury during stretching.
Our new HOT Butt & Gut HOT Core-Fusion class is a training system which combines basic core and Pilates principles with High-Intensity Interval Training like that used in Japanese Tabata Training. The class is exercised in a room heated to your body's core temperature, around 99 degrees and 40% humidity.

A place for therapeutic healing of the mind, body and spirit. Always learning something new in each class. Owners Joe and Susanne, and all the yoga instructors are welcoming, patient and open to helping in any way they can. Go in as a friend and come out feeling like family.

I decided to START practicing yoga and dove right into Hot Yoga on Merritt Island (my family thought I was nuts!) I have never taken a formal yoga class prior, so I was nervous about not being able to keep up. I was so happy with this studio from day one of my introductory month. I am now 4-months in and I love the instructors. Everyone was so welcoming from DAY 1 (welcomed me by name when I walked in the door for my very first session!) and I never felt out of place as the new person. I am relatively new to Merritt Island and this studio helped me create a sense of community!! Thanks Suzanne and

I am constantly promoting H.O.T. Yoga on the Island. I drive 20 minutes to go there, the environment is peaceful, encouraging and teachers are so motivating. One of the key features is the Welcoming when you walk in and the Music. In the business of life having soothing nature sounds or relaxing music (before and after classes) helps calm down the Nervous System to get ready for an Intense class; Hot Yoga 26:2, Pilates, Yin or Advanced. Grateful for everyone at the Studio.Blessings and Stay well. Jamie L. Maden

This is the friendliest studio ever! I practiced here twice in a week of vacation (I mean "remote work") and by the second class everyone recognized me and welcomed me back. I was shocked!
For COVID, you have to reserve online. Showers and dressing room are open. Masks everywhere in the studio except on your mat during practice. Two unique things here are that (due to no masks) they ask you to do pranayama and kalabati breathing through the nose only. The one that surprised me is they ask you to not use rubber mats (yeah, like a normal yoga mat). I suppose because they can&apos

The main woman who runs this joint is most definitely a legend. She is knowledgeable in mind and body. Suzanne Elliot has created the most beautiful place for practice and community. When she teaches she engages every student and encourages them. I could not be more pleased with this “team” we all file in and when Suzanne teaches it’s always a good class. All of the teachers bring in their own charm and ever since I’ve joined this community I have had an outlet.

H.O.T. Yoga on the Island is my drug of choice! I am so addicted to practicing yoga and also really enjoy taking the other class offerings including HOT FIT and Yin Yoga! The teachers are incredible and truly care about your health and well-being! I fractured my lower back in 2006 and was always afraid of working out in fear of injuring myself further. I cannot stress enough how much HOT yoga has helped make me stronger and has healed my body and mind! I have lost 20 pounds in just 3 months of practice and I can't wait to see my true potential as I continue to progress and grow in my own practice

This is one of the best hot yoga studios in the USA! So friendly and welcoming- you feel at home! I was on vacation in FL and took classes here for one week! I loved it! Suzanne is a master level yoga instructor with many years of experience. I received some of the most detailed teaching from her and I am still processing all the information from my classes. All of the teachers are top notch and bring a passion and purpose to every session. If you live within one hour of this studio consider yourself privileged! Next time I am down from KY I'll be here doing Bikram Hot Yoga!!!

I first went to hot yoga with trepidation, almost on a dare for myself. Plenty of times I had eye-rolled at the idea that this could in any way be enjoyable. Was I wrong! I have taken at least 1 class with each instructor, have my favorite times and teachers, and find the Practice relaxing and invigorating at the same time. As a Realtor, I am always looking for ways to improve my overall mindset and concentration. Great teachers! Caring and fun and genuine.

I will NEVER go back to this studio again. I am a student & instructor for over 10 years, and I know how to listen to my body and modify when needed. Because I chose to listen to my body and not follow the instructor. I was ridiculed throughout the entire 90 minute class. Any chance she had to make a snarky comment she did. All the way down to the last comment before she left the room. She says, "Thank you to all who came to class, and thank you for those of you who did the class the Right way.!!"
I went to class with my family and we were spread out throughout the room. Even they

Wonderful staff! Everyone is knowledgeable and they REALLY seem to care about your progress! I've had Janna and Josh so far and they've been SO ENCOURAGING, can't wait for my class with Suzanne this morning! Also, I LOVE the follow-up emails from the studio...and the pin/certificate after I completed my first class!! It really just goes the extra mile to show how much care they place into their practice! LASTLY, I mean...the intro month is a steal, there's really no excuse not to try Bikram (HOT Yoga) at HOT YOGA on the Island! :) the floor at the entrance is sooo cool, by the

This is a GREAT studio! I took Sharon's class and it was most excellent! Great pace, voice, timing, and motivation. Perfect amount of instruction balanced with silence. Thank you, Sharon! The owners were super nice and welcoming even though I had walked in with only minutes to spare before class. I had read the good reviews on Yelp and decided to drive an hour in traffic to get to the studio - and it was worth it! The studio is clean, the heat felt perfect, and there are nice touches like Clinique face lotion in the bathroom. I've been teaching Bikram Yoga for 11 years and practicing

The staff is wonderful and very helpful/accommodating. I highly recommend, even for a beginner or if you haven't done yoga in a while, this is an amazing place. It is also an incredible cardio workout! If you want to get cardio or fat-burn heartrate levels while gaining balance and improving your muscles, this is the place for you! My Fitbit had me in cardio basically the entire time. I also sweat so much I needed a shower, lol, but that is beside the point.

The most outstanding yoga studio around. The people really care about you and your practice and are super patient and supportive. They helped me realize so many things, about myself, my body, hatha yoga & the human mind. It is because of the great instructors and their dedication & personalized corrections that my practice has improved rapidly . Joe & Suzanne Elliott are masters at running a business, and it echoes throughout the studio.

What S M said. as a yoga student for many years, never have i even seen carpet in a studio, let alone anything that smelled half that bad. it was terrible. smelled like it came from a pet store. as far as the class goes, it was just OK. instructor didn't do a single pose, and actually said "make your back hurt" while in the posture??? that's insane. the students were not the most pleasant i have ever been around. find somewhere else if your not an animal lover....

I, too, have a love-hate relationship with Bikram's. I love the order of the stretches; I love the heat. I also love the book, "Bikram's Beginning Yoga," I tolerated the audio tape before CDs came out, and now I LOVE the CD format. What I have trouble with is going to the studio: the awful, rank carpet- and this is the *new* studio. Maybe it's my own distaste for the dank smell of dark, sweat-filled carpet, that would perhaps be better serving at the bottom of a bog, but I've been to the first Merritt Island stuido, and the carpet there smelled also. I love the
