Hyatt Vineyards was established by Leland and Lynda Hyatt in 1983. Evolving from a modest Estate vineyard surrounding the Winery, Hyatt Vineyards has grown to 180 acres in four separate sites all within 3 miles of the original plantings. Each of the four different vineyards, Cherry Hill, Three Rocks, Roza Ridge and the original Estate Vineyard display significantly distinct soils, elevation and exposure.
Varietals include Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Chardonnay, Riesling, Black Muscat and Zinfandel. From the Winery's first release in 1987, awards, medals and very favorable press have followed consistently year after year. Our Roza Ridge brand started with its first vintage in 2002. A collaborative effort has resulted in this Premier category of our very best from the four Hyatt Vineyards.

My experience at Hyatt Vineyards, Zillah, WA was held In August 2021 for a wedding renewal. The location is easy to find and the venue is beautiful. Never did I expect to be displeased having to write this review as a warning for future guest by the experience of one lady named Janet and her unprofessional handling of such a memorable event held for our family. The most disturbing portion of this experience was the manager named Janet at that location who lacked professionalism and communication skills with her bosses. We come to find out that Janet asked to be the appointed manager the date of

I came here all the way from Washington DC to get a few cases of wine. I checked the website to see the hours so I could plan my schedule out while I was in the valley. I went to the Hyatt winery only to find it was closed on the weekends! You should really update your internet presence as to not inconvenience people! I’m beyond annoyed!

Thank you Hyatt Vineyards for such a fantastic visit on Saturday. The girls who work here love their job and no wonder - it's a family business. The variety of wine is excellent. Their property is stunning and they allow horseback riding through the vineyards. I wish I took pics but I'll be back and add them to my review. I do not usually like Malbec but Tessa insisted we try it and it was exceptional. We purchased a case and a few bottles. Put Hyatt on your wine tour list of Zillah.

I am most happy to report that you can now purchase this beautiful wine into California. In fact on a recent trip to Seattle I bought half a case of my beloved Riesling but they mentioned, while I was on the phone, that they are now shipping to California. That have a variety of whites, reds and blends and the person who assisted me over the phone was quite helpful.
So for any of you that are looking for a complimentary white wine that you can keep on stand-by for those evenings with something spicy or just to grab going over to a friends... I recommend taking a look at their selection.

We have been coming to Hyatt for many of years. They have a wide variety of wines so everyone should be able to find one or more that they like. The grounds and building are beautiful! They have a large tasting room, store, and friendly staff. Very relaxing to sit on the lawn and chill for a while. I really like their reds.

The grounds are beautiful and we could see both mountains in the distance.
Sign say open daily for tastings 11 - 6, but also said closed. We tried the door and it was unlocked so we went in. An older lady approached us from the back of the building and we confirmed they were open. Had a quick tasting, but she just stared at us when we asked her questions about the wine. She really didn't want us there. We didn't buy any wine. went onto other wineries in the area and overspent our budget.

My wife and I had an amazing visit at Hyatt. The owner's granddaughter, Tessa, was behind the counter and pouring wines. I am in the wine business and found their wines to be very good overall, and at a very reasonable price point. Their Desert Rose is delicious, with crisp acidity and grapefruit flavors. I will definitely return.

Love their wine... Staff was absolutely awful! Felt completely uncomfortable. Such a shame because their facility and wine was spectacular. Do not recommend this winery to anyone and wont return based on their customer service. Visit reflection, wineglass cellars or cultura if you want to feel special and valued. Not worth your time or money. Sincerely hope they hire more friendly staff!

Visited here for the first time, while doing a vineyard tour around Yakima. They have a wine tasting menu (6 samples for $5 per person). Since we are more white wine fans (Rieslings), we were told to visit here. The staff were ok, not as friendly or welcoming as other establishments. We did buy their Rose and a Riesling, but I wouldn't be going back to visit for their hospitality.
Cute place, nice grounds, not so friendly staff.

This was the winery we wanted to avoid because the last time we visited them the experince was not good. That unpleasent experience was still on our minds but unfortunatly we did not recall which winery it was untill we opened the tastingroom door. Same door that slams you and same calico counter.
Last time we visited they charged a tasting fee. The wines were not flavorfull and somewhat acidic. We found one pricy ok bottle to buy but they would not give back the tasting fee (like all the other wineries do when you buy).
We did not want the same unpleasnt experince so we said no thank

First comment for out-of-towners: they don't ship. (However -- and I'm going to do this next time -- one can go to UPS or FED-EX and see if it's cost effective to ship on your own.)
Tastings: six wines for $5. To maximize your visit, you might want to split tastes with your companion and spend $10 for 12 tastes.
I enjoyed the wines here. I enjoyed chatting with the woman proffering samples. I'm not a fan of sweet wine, but I tried several that I actually liked. Even bought a Riesling, which I've never done.
Like other Zillah wineries, good value, very fair prices

The wines were average. The experience was uncomfortable. We walked in and greeted the woman behind the bar, because she wasn't too excited about greeting us. We added the chatter. We asked about the tasting -- because it wasn't being prooffered. We reminded her about when we wanted to try the next drink because she was so busy with everything else but us. I think that would have been perfectly acceptable to me had she talked a bit as well, but she didn't.
A woman came in to pay a downpayment on the venue, and that meant we waited without drink while she muddled around with that

Very cute winery, stunning views, great wine, and nice staff.
I tried all of the white wine they had to offer, most of it is on the sweet side, but the Pinot Gris is amazing.
If you are in need of something to store all of your wine corks, this is the place to go. They have very cute decorations that double as wine cork storage; very nice variety as well.

Loved the 2011 Black Muscat! Really beautiful tasting room as well as a beautiful garden area to sit in and enjoy a glass of wine and olives! Really nice lady who helped us out - I really appreciate how she went to the back to find me toothpicks so we could eat our olives. It's always nice when customer service goes beyond what is expected. It is the little things that count. Thank you Hyatt!

If it wasn't for Hyatt's has beautiful scenery this would have been a pretty bad experience! I loved the windmill and that was pretty much it.
As we walked into the tasting room we did not even get a Hello, Hi, or how are you today. We looked around at the retail merchandise then headed up to the bar. The women behind the bar then asked if we had passports and we said yes. She then started pouring. While she poured she never even looked at us. She told us what the wine was and then turned to get the next one. She was Not very friendly at all. I think she thought we weren't

It was really beautiful outside but the woman who greeted (and I use that term lightly) us inside wasn't very cheerful. Not to us anyway - the people next to us who were in their 40's and talking loudly about the restaurant they owned were getting lots of attention. We got this at quite a few places actually - maybe my boyfriend and I don't look like we have money, LOL? She had a forced smile the whole time and sometimes I think she just forgot to even try. Halfway through I remembered our passports and then she started warming up to us. Whatever. There was a lot of merchandise laying

The atmosphere at Hyatt when the weather is good and they have a band playing is great for sipping wine and people watching. The food they sell however is overpriced and made with the worst meat possible- barely edible...and they wanted us to buy two steak sandwiches...bah!
This time around there was no outdoor festivities because of the rain. Inside their servers were being occupied by some pushy women- which left us feeling a little neglected. We rushed through the selection and made our way out without buying anything.

We stumbled upon Hyatt Winery on a bike tour in Zillah.
Holy moley! This winery is so perfect. It's small but organized well with a thoughtful layout. The front grounds are so charming with a large windmill and grain silo surrounded by a lush green lawn; perfect for placing my tired bike-riding-bum after a dusty/hot all day ride through Columbia Valley.
I LOVED this place. Try the Black Muscat.
It'll blow your mind about rosé wine...it did mine.
