Our family has been farming the Yakima Valley for four generations and the bond we hold with this place, our place, continues to grow stronger. The crops we grow may have changed and we no longer have to worry about hitching up the plow horse, but this land has provided for generations. Giving back to the land is something we learned from a very young age.
We have taken that way of life one step further by becoming the first Rules for Sustainable Winegrowing certified vineyard in Washington State, so future generations can continue to prosper in this place. What was once Schmidt Orchards, planted by our grandfather, Phil Schmidt in 1951, became Copeland Vineyard that we planted with our uncle, Ron Schmidt, in 2000.

This classic Chardonnay has aromas of ripe apple and hay with hints on toast and vanilla followed by inviting flavors of overripe pears.
It's red wine season, and we are here for it. This trio of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and the yet-to-be-released Syrah will be there for you, whatever the occasion. We spent the weekend driving from Walla Walla to Yakima tasting wines along the way. Two Mountain was hands down our favorite winery of the trip. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They are also dog friendly. We brought our golden retriever along with us and she quickly became buddies with Cash (the well behaved and welcoming winery dog). In addition to the hospitality and ambiance, we loved every single wine we tried on the tasting menu. We will be absolutely be back the next time we’re in the area!

We spent the weekend in the area and hit a couple of the wineries and were not disappointed with Two Mountain at all! Great wine and fantastic friendly customer service! We actually came back the following weekend with my parents and had a wonderful time too!
We will always stop in when we are in the area!

Lovely wine tasting with reasonably priced wine with tasting fee waived upon bottle purchased. Riesling was dry, the chardonnay was surprising with a pretty caramelized buttery finish, and syrah was velvety. Took home a bottle of riesling. It was a sunny yet cloudy day so we couldn't take a photo of the Mt Adams and Mt Rainier from the venue. Very friendly dog. They had cheese / meat packaged snacks available for purchase. Was recommended that autumn is a good time to come for the apple picking and cheese picking in later summer.
One caution about GPS route via Google maps. We were coming

I absolutely loved this place! My partner and I went over the weekend for the first time and it was a wonderful experience, we would definitely recommend. The man with the beard who helped us was incredibly kind and we witnessed him handle some not so great/not so nice customers, so professionally and kindly. Their wine was amazing and so was the atmosphere and customer service. Will definitely be making the trip to this place with my partner from now on!

Very cute winery and tasting room in Zillah! We lucked out and visited a day before the latest COVID restrictions went into effect, so we got to do a nice, private tasting in the outdoor seating area.
The staff and their pup were very accommodating and super friendly. We did a couples tasting which was a great value and offered a selection of reds and whites. We left with a bottle of their Sauvignon Blanc, but also really enjoyed their Syrah and Merlot as well!
Definitely a must visit!! 👍👍

2 Mountain Winery Great Location & Wine!
My husband and I visited 2 Mountain Winery on a Thursday. The tasting room is inside what looks like a corrugated metal barn. Inside in the A/C are 2 tasting areas. The rest is where they store all of their barrels (which is pretty cool). We each had a wine flight. The pinot gris was a little sweet, but the rose was super dry and crisp (we bought the mini bottle 3 pack). The reds we tried were also very good I particularly liked the syrah and the cab franc. The lady who helped us was so nice. When we told her this was our first time visiting Washington

I came back again and I just can't say enough good things about this place. The man who works the tastings is just so friendly and very knowledgeable. The tasting menu had changed since last time, but it was still really good! Still saddens me that they don't have a tasting bar on the west side of the mountains. The winery there is so nice and like my last review just a great place to visit. Still in my top 3 favorite wineries I've ever tried. Can't wait to go back again!

Walking in ~ the tasting room displays werehouse high barrel racks, plenty long countertop to share.
Five star friendly laid back service ~ l appreciate this much over the hoity toity.
Encouraged to walk about the vineyard and a decorative grapevine enclosed grass yard in back. Funny to see folks snoozing in the loungers.
Wine ~ took a bottle home

This was our first stop wine tasting in the Zillah area. The lady at the counter was so friendly. She gave me a map and suggested what all we should do and places to eat.
Tasting fee is $5 per person and waived if you get wine worth $20. The yelp check in for free reserve tasting was good for one taste of their reserve wines. You still pay the regular $5 tasting fee.
Our favorite was their Pinot Grigio, reds were probably not our palate.
Nice views of Mt.Rainer and Mt.Adams while we were there.

I CANNOT say enough great things about their wine. The Sav Blanc is a winner every year. it's in small supply so i always buy at least a case.
The winery has a fun industrial chic and sassiness that the two brothers epitomize in their personalities. utmost professionals and hosts while you guzzle their yummy wine.
the winery events are amazing and definitely join their wine club. so worth it!!!

Just another perfect example of why we love wine tasting. Suzie was fun, open, and more than willing to not only share her wines, but recommend other nearby wineries for us to check out. Two Mountain has a nice selection of very well crafted wines to try, but they may be a victim of their own success as they are already sold out of their reserve wines. Nice patio with decent views to stay and sip.

I came for a wine release party in May with my family. We had a great time! Taco truck serving free food to their guests, wine tasting, live music. It was a great night!
Their wine is great. I brought a bottle of the rose home. They were expecting to sell out of it quickly. Very friendly service here as well!

This has become a priority stop on our wine adventures. The tasting room is located in a fun spot under the shadow of the barrels, which gives it a cool ambiance. The staff/owners are always friendly and knowledgeable and make you feel welcome.
I am usually not a riesling drinker, but theirs is fresh and dry and lovely. I was also impressed with the new Show Pony red blend.
If you are planning a winery trip to this area, you really must stop here.

This was our first stop of our first Central Washington wine weekend, and it did not disappoint! My husband and I both opted for the $5 wine tasting (waived with purchase of a $20+ bottle of wine) and checked in to get an extra free tasting of our of their reserve bottles (read: better and more expensive). Our favorite of the five standards was the Chardonnay - which we bought to take home - and my overall favorite was the Reserve Bros. red blend. So rich and jammy!
The atmosphere of the tasting room was great too! Very casual and welcoming. Looking forward to returning in summertime!

Do you love puppies, kittens, a cool spring breeze, unicorns and Christmas? If so, two Mountain Winery is right up your alley! If you don't love the aforementioned wonderful things, two Mountain Winery is still probably right up your alley. Legend has it that Once Upon a Time Chuck Norris' beard begin to grow grapes. A single drop of 1 grape fell upon the soil of two Mountain Winery and today they have some of the most boss wine in the area

If you are thinking about going here.....GO! Two Mountain Winery has some of the best wine around! The syrah is fantastic, but the true gem here is the hidden horse! If you are a purist then this may not suit you (it's a blend), but this is one of my favorite wines anywhere. It obviously changes a little bit every year, but every year they seem to get it just right!
So what makes two mountain different than all of the other places in the area? It's more fun! The staff is great, they've got dogs roaming the area who are all super friendly, there's chalk for your kids to
