Living there was a nightmare, at least for me. The leasing agent(s) was fine, but the supervisor and assistant supervisor were incompetent bozos.
After staying my first night in the parking garage, I went out in the morning and it had been towed. They didn't stress anything regarding putting the parking sticker on RIGHT AWAY, as he even played it down as being super lax in there, including friends temporarily having their cars in there. I never saw another tow truck in there the remainder of the year. Makes you wonder... .

I love the community. I moved here from California looking for a place that I could feel like I belong. The river house was a nice surprise. I am meeting new people and there’s definitely a lot of amenities. I appreciate the staff and the friendliness of all the neighbors. Good mail and package handling (unless package is bigger than locker size, then good luck trying to get it from USPS office)
The security seems to be good. Fob controlled entry ways and Garage entrances.
Cons:
apartment is not soundproof, can hear the stairway doors being slammed all day , upstairs neighbors vacuuming sounds like they're 2feet away from you. Frequent loud drunk people on the sidewalk at night and no Street or guest parking because of the nearby bars.
You can hear flushes from upstairs while in the dining or living room

I was happy living here...even after realizing my ventilation system...like stated in the other reviews...was an issue...I would live with it...staff was nice....I could even ignore the head of maintenance's attitude and the odor booze coming from him... At the end of August a contractor drilled through the sprinkler system...I was flooded out, lost everything but manage to save my art. -Wasted electricity even during the ERCOT power outages by having a TV in the leasing office play advertisements to nobody 24/7. It shows how little they care about people.
-Maintanence never responded to the many maintenance requests for my first 10 months there unless you went to the office to follow-up, usually several times, and even then it was never done in less than a week. One time I put in a request for a broken dishwasher and it lasted over a month because I didn't go to the office to check on it in the first 3 weeks after posting it.
-Poor air flow so one part of the apartment is much

Lived here 3 years. The location is great- easily walkable to the Pearl and even downtown if you're willing to hike. The gym is decent with dumbbells and machines; the treadmills frequently break down. Pool is nice and maintained. The apartments themselves, however, are shoddy. We had a mold festival behind one wall that eventually eroded through the wall so we could see it. Maintenance 'fixed' a leaky pipe, but when the mold returned, another plumber came in and had to do a more extensive repair that involved the floor above us. I had searched for a long time for an apartment and finally settled on River House (RH) due to its decent prices, view of SAMA, great amenities, and industrial design. Community was amazing - lots of social, nice 20 and 30-somethings. After a year I was still enjoying it and decided to renew.

I have lived at River House almost 5 years and just signed another 14 month lease because we love it here so much! The staff is extremely attentive and accommodating, and maintenance requests are always fulfilled in a timely manner. JD, the Assistant Manager, is awesome and will make sure your living experience here is nothing short of great!

Great spot in a great location. The complex is really well taken care of and the staff is very friendly. The walls are a little thin but thats the case for most apartments. I had to break my lease early, which I was bummed out about having to pay it out, but J.D. worked hard to get a new resident and it saved me almost a grand.

The Staff of this apartment complex are amazing and very accommodating. I was able to lock down an apartment without any application fees and they even gave me money to put towards rent some how. As for the actual apartments, they are very well built and the 10ft ceilings make it feel much larger than it is. I would choose this place again again if you are moving to San Antonio and want a fun apartment to live in.

Do not move here if you value yourself and your money. Units are old and not up to par with other properties in the same area. They charge for absolutely everything. If you do not give a 60 day notice to move out you will be charged an 85% reletting fee. We had to move out at the end of our lease due to loss of employment because of Covid. My husband lost his job 2 weeks before our lease was up, before that we had planned to renew our lease for an additional few months until our home was finished. River House nor Greystar is willing to work with us in regards to the reletting fee. River House told

So initially this place was great....but I think BIG FOOT has moved upstairs from me!! I can hear EVERY SINGLE FOOTSTEP this perSon takes. I am soooooooo annoyed I could scream!! Office notified of the noise and I assume they notified them because now it sounds like they are intentionally stomping! They are sliding things across the floor, dropping large items, sounds like heavy weights. I can't wait until my lease is up to get the hell out of here!! Great location, management responds quickly.... the only way I would live here is if I was on top floor. Inconsiderate neighbors wreck my nerves

We were at this apartment building visiting family. After a week of staying in various nice hotels our favorite leisure time was unexpectedly at an apartment pool! The space is super classy and well maintained, the pool was just the right size and temperature, and this overflow wall and perfect space to lounge while toddlers splash was just right. The River being right there was special and we were tempted to walk back to our hotel downtown along the river if it wasn't so hot.

Management is good , over all property is good and the small dog park is okay; however I would really stress to anyone whom is considering moving here to reconsider their options when looking, unfortunately the builders never considered the noise and how to mitigate that, more so tenants that live above you. DO NOT MOVE ON THE FIRST FLOOR. Within our private online community board multiple complaints and pleas to upstairs neighbors in both buildings have been made about the noise they make at ALL hours of the day and night, however it goes unnoticed. Overall, my wife and I love the River House! It has great amenities, nicely finished apartments, and is in a wonderful location. The management has been very responsive and great to work with. And the complex is well maintained. You definitely can't beat the location, as I love being directly on the north branch of the river walk. Best place we've ever lived. Fantastic apartments!

I have called 3 times and left two voicemails with my name and phone number and purpose for calling. Never have i had any human interaction when I called, I've just had an automated service directing me to leave a voicemail. It is poor form. We love living here! Our condo is situated on the riverwalk, next to the art museum and walking distance from the Pearl.... We couldn't ask for a more enjoyable backyard. Our apartment is lovely, with beautiful countertops, sliding barn doors, and hardwood thru out. Not to mention the management team is incredible, offering an array of social activities. Check out the river house apartments with confidence, you won't be disappointed.

The River house has definitely become my San Antonio home. I love living here. The amenities are really nice, Saturday morning walks to the Pearl market are amazing, and the staff and events they plan are awesome. Our friends often start out a weekend night here because of our central location to everything! The dog park, doggy bath tub, and river walk make this place a prime choice if you are like me and your dog is a prime consideration. I'm really content here and when I came back from deployment decided to live here again.

Cannot go wrong living at the River House! Staff is SUPER friendly and they plan fun, monthly events so residents can socialize with one another. Great location to San Antonio's hot spots (walking distance) and easy access to all highways. Also, the apartments facilities are new and nice- we loved our floor plan and living 10 feet from the Riverwalk!
