This is our second time staying at The Guest Lodge. It is a safe, clean hotel and a very good value for the money. however, our last visit was better than our stay this time. Apparently, our do not disturb sign had blown off of the door handle, due to the rainy and windy weather and housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:15 in the morning! Luckily, we had just woken up a few minutes prior to that, but I've never had a housekeeper show up so early. That would've been a big problem if we were still asleep.
Breakfast is included and there are several options, which is nice. I came down

We booked a wedding block with the hotel. Overall, our experience with planning for our wedding went smoothly. Hannah was excellent and very easy to communicate with. The hotel itself is beautiful and you can't beat an included full breakfast! The only issue we had was upon check in. The receptionist took 45 minutes to check us in because she said she didn't see the agreed upon discounts on our account. I asked several times if someone else could assist us and she basically ignored me or told me everyone else was in a meeting. A minor hiccup in an overall great experience.
