Services
Sprout Kids Academy offers child care and preschool for children starting at 6 weeks of age. Parents are able to choose from one of three rate categories to select a rate that best fits their schedule and child care needs. Admission into the before and after school program does NOT automatically follow the preschool program.
Sprout Kids Academy follows the adult-to-child ratios set forth by the Department of Human Services. Sprout Kids Academy has joined with the Clear Creek Amana School District to participate as a "Community Partner" in the statewide Voluntary Preschool Program (VPP). This program is an educational program sponsored by the State of Iowa designed to provide an opportunity for young children to enter kindergarten ready to learn.
Admission into the before and after school program does NOT automatically follow completion of the preschool program. Parents must register their child for the before and after school program separately. Children may be dropped off at Sprout as early as 6:15 am. Children will be offered a morning snack before engaging in play.
It is extremely important that your child follows directions and acts appropriately while on field trips and excursions. Failing to do so poses a safety concern for your child, as well as other children. If your child's behavior is problematic, he/she may be excluded from one or more field trips in the future.
Sprout Kids Academy is excited to share Tadpoles software with our families! This software provides a user-friendly way for parents and care givers to communicate. Each classroom is equipped with an iPad to record photos, videos and specific details regarding your child's care throughout the day. Parents can log in to Tadpoles from a mobile device or computer to communicate directly with caregivers and get a sneak-peek into their child's day.
