Services
Handicare's program is focused on providing quality care and education that meets individual and family needs. Interagency service coordination and a team approach are used to plan and implement activities that promote each child's development. The infant-toddler component of the program is for children from infancy through two years of age.
Caring, long-term, professionally trained staff: Handicare staff members come from diverse cultures and have a variety of professional degrees and certifications; our direct-care staff have been with Handicare for an average of 6 years; food service, building janitorial and administrative staff allow teachers and caregivers to devote all their time to children.

Handicare has been absolutely amazing to our family! Where to begin? When my husband and I first toured this place when I was around 20 weeks pregnant, we got the feeling that this daycare was something special. Fast forward to having our 5 month old son in daycare here, we were so right! The employees are experienced, professional, kind, nurturing and go above and beyond. A good portion of their employees I have met have worked here over 10-20 years.. Wow! I love that this place feels like a work family and not like a business. They have been very accommodating to our family's daycare

My daughter has thrived at Handicare! She has developed a strong bond with her teacher, and I know her teacher loves her like she is her own child. I chose this daycare because of their excellent rating with DHS, because they provided formula and diaper wipes at no additional cost when my daughter was a baby, they are open 6:30a-6:30p, and because they have staff members who have been there for over 20 years. Handicare is a very inclusive daycare, and I am thrilled with care and experiences my daughter is getting!

The staff here are like family. Very devoted and compassionate. They take the time to get to know your children and work with their individual needs. If they see an issue they are proactive about working with you to solve it and have great referrals for child's extra needs in the school setting. I would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking for a safe and nurturing daycare/preschool for their kids.

Not only an amazing and supportive place to work but I having the opportunity to have my daughter in the program was wonderful. Handicare uses the Creative Cirriculum along with supplemental curriculums like Handwriting Without Tears(same as the local school system). The teachers have a low turn over rate some have been there for more than 20 years. Great place to thrive.
