NEW RELEASE Tippy's White is a delicious blend of Sauvignon Blanc and French Colombard - the perfect balance of sweet fruit and juicy acidity. This combination provides a zippy, refreshing wine full of floral aromatics and flavors of golden delicious apples, tropical fruit and spicy pears. Named for the original McNab Dog, Fred accompanied Alexander McNab on the boat to America from Scotland in the mid-1800s.
A beloved Wine Club favorite this Reserve Zinfandel comes from Cononiah Vineyard, owned and farmed by our friends, the Ed Berry Family. Spicy poached berries and core of earthiness, leather entice the nose while the palate boasts a complex mix of bold fruit and a backbone of tannin that makes this Zin age delightfully over the next decade.
McNab Ridge Winery Tasting Room is located in downtown Hopland at 13450 South Highway 101. Follow the Russian River along Highway 101, and you'll discover Hopland, a jewel of a town replete with history. Some of their wines are really nice. Lady who works here lets phone calls go to voicemail and then doesn't return calls. As for contacting her by email, she never replies to emails. Not sure how she gets any business. Too bad because I've tasted a few of their RED wines and they're really good and reasonably priced.
