Services
At Terra Savia, we make award-winning, estate wines and premium extra virgin olive oil. We are passionately involved during 100% of the entire process from the field to the finished product. From farming select grapes and olives organically on our estate to bottling at our modern winery and olive milling facility, we also maintain strict quality control throughout and adhere to the highest standards of organic farming.
Terra Savia Winemaker Jim Milone feels quite fortunate to have been making wine from Sanel Valley Vineyards for over 40 years. He is a fourth generation Hopland Winegrower, following in the footsteps of his great grandfather, who emigrated from Italy as a young man and operated Hopland's first winery until Prohibition.
The Terra Savia Club offers members-only offerings and discounts on all products. Those who join enjoy becoming part of our merry band of beast lovers and aficionados of the Terra Savia estate in all its folly. Sign up at no cost. My family and I stopped here on our way home from Mendocino. We had time to stop at one winery and picked this one based only on the review rating on Google Maps. On our way there we passed several other wineries with fantastic villas and extraordinary views from their tasting rooms. I was worried when we walked into a barn with mechanical equipment inside.
We had the best time!
Monica was our host and she was absolutely delightful. She welcomed us warmly and shared some of her own culinary creations as we tasted wine. The wine was very good and we left with bottles of our own. But before we

I stayed at Terra Savia while in Hopland for a wedding. Nate was an absolutely phenomenal host who went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. The wine itself is absolutely phenomenal (check out the Merlot!), the wine tasting such a nice experience, and all the other products they make there were incredible as well. The stay and environment was absolutely lovely and we will definitely be coming back.

Our trip to California included Sanoma, Napa, and wineries from the valleys surrounding, but Terra Savia was by far our favorite! The staff was incredible and the wine was just as delightful. Make sure you try the oil and try the estate's table grapes. Then save time to visit the plants for sale and rescued animals!

This was the most amazing experience! We were told to go here while at a different winery - didn't have a reservation but we showed up and they treated us SO well! Showed us the best time! A group of 15 for a bachelorette party! We tried their champs and rose which were amazing. They toured us around - into the cellar and the animals! It was the best bachelorette party location!!! We didn't even go to to the next reservation we had because we were having too much fun!

We visited Terra Sávia recently and had a fantastic time. There were multiple kids under the age of 10 in our group and the staff could not have been more welcoming to all of us. We got to feed their goats, sheep, and an adorable adolescent cow. The staff provided us with cheese plates and watermelon and popsicles for the kids. On top of the excellent hospitality, their olive oils and wines were delicious. We hope to go back in the fall so that we can watch the olive oil being made. Could not recommend this place more!

Lovely wine and lovely down to earth people. Just recently discovered this gem in Hopland. Loved the chardonnay, the brut rouge and the Pinot but honestly didn't taste any I didn't like and affordable! They also produce fantastic olive oils and soaps. Nice gift packs available too! Dog friendly and EV chargers available. Next time I'll bring a picnic and enjoy their wines on property!

Really nice place. The wine is so good! And everyone there is so friendly, eas really nice to visit this place and hear about what they do and how they do it. Their brut is one of the best wines I had so far. You can buy olive oil, soap and creams made by them, even the plants. Completely recommended!

My fiance and I had the opportunity to visit Hopland and check out Terra Savia last weekend, and it was fantastic! We went to the majority of the tasting rooms in the area, and Terra Savia was our favorite. The wines were excellent across the board and a fantastic value. The vibe is relaxed and there is plenty of space for larger/multiple groups (bonus: several cute and sweet resident cats). Jim and Christie are wonderful!
As an aside, we actually stayed on the property at the guest house (https://www.vrbo.com/400529) and it was awesome. Perfect for a group of four (or even a couple more people

Beautiful winery with warm and welcoming staff. Families are welcomed and encouraged to use the picnic area. My grandkids and I had a terrific time picking olives which the staff pressed into fresh oil. Thank you, Yvonne! I will definitely add this winery to my list to visit with out of town guests.

The tasting room is a large open ambience..
with production equipment and several grand art pieces defining the space attractively.
Massive redwood/old oak furniture surrounded with palms/various plants.

The wines are very good - bargains! Their Chard, and Reserve Chard are excellent. And I bought 6 bottles of the Cabernet and some of the Meritage as well. Fantastic buys.
A fun winery to visit during Hopland's Passport event (once in spring and once in fall each year) when it opens up and gives space to local craftspeople...
They also make olive oil and process it for others.
Fourth generation Mendocino wine family - these people know what they are doing. A deft hand.
My favorite has to be their sparkling wine, which just tied both Roederer and Scharffenberger in the 2011 Mendocino Wine
