It is really hard to find a nice affordable place to live when you are retired and on a fixed income.
I was so impressed with the new property manager. I live 60 miles away so I gave the manager all of my details and she said I was qualified so I drove down.
What I found was a nice place but the buildings were in serious need of a good pressure washing and painting on the wood trim. You could tell this place needs work.
Anyways, the 1 bedroom was TINY. it was clean and I decided to apply. I gave all my financial info and gave my money order for the $13 fee. I was told there should be no

For the pass two months my mama has had little to no water pressure. I have been bringing her clothes to my house to wash and her over here to shower. She has been getting the run-around from the complex. Her water bill has been $80 plus for the last two months almost tripled the normal amount. I have called she has called. So this week they finally got it fixed. I called and asked for a reduction in her rent (I personally think a months rent would be fair) to try and off set the water bill an inconvenience for the last two months. The property manager and I quote "that's not going to happen".
