We were previously called the Veranda Inn and Gem Coast Inn and are under new ownership. Our Englewood hotel has been completely remodeled and our rooms feature new amenities such as in-room refrigerators and microwaves, in-room coffee, new flat panel televisions.

Registered guests must be 25 years of age or older. A photo ID (driver's license or passport) and credit card is required at check-in. The credit card must be issued in the guest's name. Early departures will not be issued a credit. No extra person(s) other then booked person(s) is allowed in the guest-room(s) without Sun Coast Inn's explicit permission.

Was great when we got there, they were nice and allowed us to pay cash as we pulled out combine cash from our bank accounts. Charged us $100 deposit Incase of incidentals, but I didn't notice it was not written on the receipt. When we went to check out the next morning they denied us and kept our deposit inspire how we made a point of keeping the room in almost perfect condition.

I came down to visit Englewood fl because I've been here before and love the beach. After I paid the the weekend I found out it was going to be cold and was not a beach weekend. I asked for a refund for the second day because I was not sitting in my room for 2 days but they would not give it to me. Won't be back here again bad business manners

In the area of Englewood, in a average of $100 a night, this is the best hotel here.
We always sleep here when we are in the area. A non smoking room with a king size bed.
The towels are soft and clean, the place is clean, never we slept here in a room smelling cigar, this is a plus!
No carpet and floor is always clean, I can be barefoot.
It’s a old hotel, so the elevator is old, but the matters is the room I am going to stay and the bed I am going to sleep. So for me is a decent place to be.
And there is a delicious Italian restaurant next to eat, and you can walk to it.

Decent size room, was a little bit dusty and needed to be swept but had a good night's rest and the highway is right outside but wasn't loud when I went to sleep. The owners were very accommodating, the price is good for the room. Definitely would come back, there also isn't any extras like a normal hotel, but your room has everything you need really.
