As a resident at the Allison Condominiums in Scottsdale Arizona, I feel that the association and management company are failing to provide adequate safety, and the "luxury" living that is advertised for the complex. It is my belief that the owners who pay their dues to this association and the residents who pay the management company have the expectation for "Luxury" living while staying at the Allison Condominiums. Luxury can be defined as "the state of great comfort and extravagant living" and there is a clear disconnect with management on what needs to be done to properly maintain the property

I recommend you look elsewhere. The price is great but it's very frustrating most days to live here. You have to annoy the front office to get anything done. If you are looking for a place with a nice gym, this is not the place. Little to no visitor parking for anyone you have over. In my area there is about 5-6 visitor parking spots that are taken up by people who live here. I live up above 3 neighbors who often take up 3 guests spots and leave their 1 empty. I could really go on. If you want to deal with the stress, by all means go for it. My suggestion is to look elsewhere. On the plus side

Pretty bad. Moved in everything fell apart. Parking is awful and they do nothing about it when someone parks in your spot. They also claimed I had $750 worth of damage from my dog, who went potty on the carpet 3-4 times. I cleaned it up and was spotless...so I thought. Gym is tiny and nothing works. Mailbox was always broken. I would stay away at all costs!

I was able to work out everything (damage fee's, etc.) after my move thanks to Carrie (Property Manager). She was more than fair to me and is the best property manager I've ever personally experienced. The apartments are actually very spacious and the location is amazing. It's also a great place if you have children or dogs because there is always someone for them to play with. Lastly, it has an amazing pool (2 actually) with a top notch barbecue area to have fun with your friends and family.

If you have children or fun DO NOT LIVE HERE! We were constantly being told we were at the pool too long with our children, that we were being watched and our children didn't use the restrooms often enough while they were playing outside. It needs to be turned into 50 and over living. The older crowd complained about everything we did. It got so bad that we ended up filing harassment charges. The HOA and the office were NO help. When we first looked at the condo we were told the carpets were being cleaned the next day. They were never cleaned, then we were told they would clean them for us after
