For the do it yourselfer, or weekend technician we also have a large selection of parts in stock and will special order any part you need.

We purchased a washer at Lowe’s that was new but repaired by this business. His repair order attached says fixed. And IT IS NOT. Washed one load and it’s doing the same thing it was supposedly fixed. Called to talk to them and the lady that answered was RUDE as an be. My question is how do you supposedly check to see if it is spinning when it locks the lid during spin cycle ??? Lowe’s was very accommodating and said they have had other complaints on this business. Said they will report it was not fixed. OH BUT they could come loo At it for a few. They do not take credit cards. Cash or check only. I dont know if this is due to not wanting to claim all income for tax purposes or if a way to skirt credit card fees or both but it makes it very difficult in the year 2021 to do business with a company that only accepts cash or check. I recommend A1 Appliance in Tulsa. Family owned and they accept credit cards. I should have started with A1 since Shelton's has a 2.7 star review

I have a brand new Whirlpool dishwasher that needed repairs that were covered under warranty. Whirlpool had made all the arrangements for a tech to come out and fix it. Shelton’s sent a tech out within 2 days. The tech was super friendly, punctual and professional. A part needed to be ordered so the repairs couldn’t be done the same day sadly. However, the part came in quickly, and the same tech came shortly after that and had the dishwasher all fixed up. Very happy with their service!

John G , technician showed up... wrote on his invoice that he was here from 12:45 to 1:20... more like 15 minutes total... $147 later I was told that my washing machine tub beating was bad not worth fixing ... wait I just paid a lot of money for that LG machine a few years ago ?? Next $49 to tell me that my dryer has a possible clogged vent... but wait we only get paid to diagnose we don't do work.
In my opinion this company doesn't work on appliances they make money showing up telling you to replace your appliances...

I can see why there were so many bad reviews! I was referred to Shelton by the Amana warrantee hotline, who has made an 8am appointment for me. I called the company to confirm and they said they didn't have that time available and the secretary wanted to school me on how they schedule their workers. I told her it wasn't worth an argument and hung up. She called me back to tell me how nice I was for hanging up and wanted to continue arguing. Lord knows what the workers are like in your home if this is their customer service! FYI, they only take checks or cash, which seems a bit shady.

Tried several days to get a service rep and when he finally called and said he was on his way and he never showed. I called the office to see what happened and to no surprise they never called me back. They act like the customer owes them, no caring, no apologies.
Called another service and they were here within 4 hours, fixed our appliance and they thanked me for using their company (that's service!).

We had an issue with our old oven. The guys came by, diagnosed the issue. A couple of days later they've installed the replacement part. Now, everything works as new. This is the appliance service that one expects.

Big mistake. Took months to finally just give up and buy a new one. No apologies, not a customer care in the world.
