I have been to this location before and always enjoyed the class . This time I brought my husband and son with me to a beginner class . Karen taught the class and really helped with using blocks and blankets to get the pose correct and maximize the stretch , even for a beginner . They were not crazy about going ( my pic my day ) but they really enjoyed the class and said they would return with me again ! I'm so glad we went as a family . The studio is very clean and calm . All the other students in the class welcomed my family and were excited for me that I got to practice with my family

While so far I have only practiced there twice, but I know both owners and they are absolutely wonderful, loving, and kind individuals. The studio is comfortable and inviting, the props are clean and organized, and important for me it isn't freezing cold in there like it is at a gym yoga class. There's no judgment there and I can't think of a single

Second, you can purchase an unlimited intro month for $50 which was perfect for me since this is the first yoga pass I have ever purchased. Third, every single teacher is so kind and inviting. If you are new to yoga, don't feel intimidated! Ananda has classes for all different levels. I attended a Vinyasa class that was above my level and I wasn't embarrassed at all because the instructor was so helpful and the others in the class were encouraging and

Though I consider myself a beginner, I have taking yoga classes off and on. Over that time I had some good teachers and learned a lot, but I always felt a disconnect in communicating how I felt about a pose (I have herniated disks) and what the instructor wanted the class to do. Working with Karen and Shelly has been a very different, ... and positive experience. They listen to your concerns, they are very patient and easy to talk with, and they provide alternative, more gentler poses that let me ease into more advanced poses. Since I have started with Ananda yoga I feel I have less tightness and
