Bowes Animal Hospital is proud to serve the Elgin, IL area for everything pet-related. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Sharanjit Randhawa, who is a licensed, experienced Elgin veterinarian. Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise.
Dr. Randhawa has been practicing as a certified veterinarian for over 20 years and in that time, he has owned three different clinics and helped thousands of our furry friends. Since he first started, Dr. Randhawa has ensured that every pet leaves his office with its tail wagging, feeling refreshed and as happy as can be.
Our appointment book is computerized, which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us immediately.
In your search for a veterinary facility, we believe you should expect high quality care as well as great service. Our goal has been to assemble a veterinary health care team committed to providing exceptional client service and veterinary health care. 1. Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill. 2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card. 3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well.

We absolutely LOVE this animal hospital! The staff is absolutely amazing and truly cares about the animals they see. We unfortunately lost our dog a few days ago and they tried so many things to help her. They even sent us a beautiful flower arrangement. How many vets offices care enough to do that! When we are able and ready to have another dog, we will definitely be back.

Bowes animal hospital has absolutely been probably the best vet experiences I’ve ever had.
But Erika deserves the biggest honorable mention, her kindness and caring are what bring us back the most.
My Lady… has gone through a lot the last couple of months but with Erikas help and advice Lady has recovered each bout we’ve ran into.

⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Erica and Dr. Randhawa. I visited the hospital for the first time yesterday with my diabetic kitty who just started showing signs of neuropathy in his hind legs. They provided some great… information and showed me how to check his blood sugar at home. My mind is more at ease now and I feel more hopeful than I did before I went in. This is the best veterinarian's office I've ever been to. Their customer service goes above and beyond. I feel safe taking all three of our babies there. I have one fur baby who got an ear infection, tooth… abscess, dog bite, and tooth extraction in 1 MONTH! (shes our little lemon) they took AMAZING care of her each time. The veterinarians bedside manner is great as well. I refer all family and friends here as well.

Just want to say I’m super happy that my Mia is no longer in pain. She had a digit amputated but is healing well and in good spirits! The staff and doc are always super pleasant and act as if your their only… patient. When I’m reality I’m sure they are tired of repeating themselves a million times a day! ❤️ All good girls get Starbucks pupcuP!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our family cannot thank Bowes Animal Hospital enough for the care they give to all of our furbabies! If it is not one dog or cat, it’s one of the others, and Bowes is always able to get our pets in… and cared for. Just recently our one dogs had two masses removed and they were absolutely wonderful. She only went in for one growth removal but we got a call there was another lump during surgery and the doctor recommended it’s removal as well. They reassured us they would thoroughly look for any other
