Services
When your first job at age 5 is making organic carrot juice in the kitchen of the health food store, nutrition really is in your blood. Max grew up watching his Grandmother and Father working with clients and was soon ordering products for the store, stocking shelves and leading customers to the various products to talk to them about their benefits.
We reccomend this to all our clients, especially during cold and flu season. The blend of standardised herbal extracts and the reishi, shittake and maitakie mushroom blend have been cliniclally proven to boost white blood cell counts within short period of time. I hate taking vitamins because they always upset my stomach.

Meh. Prices seem a bit high for what you get. Worse is the owner's attitude. He made a point of hurling profanity laced insults at children attending a peace rally. Not sure what type of person needs to go after children to feel like they are making a point. But, I'll be making a point to go elsewhere.

Owner is very nice and involved with the community. Always very happy to support this business. Also as a plus- bagpipe music was playing outside supporting the scots :)

Being a few doors down from us, Bill Griffin Real Estate, occasionally I grab an all-natural sandwich for lunch, or would enjoy their famous frozen yogurt, which is also all-natural. This store has been here, by the fountain at Snider Plaza, for a very long time. Even met Steve Tyler (Aerosmith) there once, ha! He was looking for some vitamins!)) It's a family business, and we do love our local businesses! Thank you guys for doing a great job!

I shop at Plaza Health Store frequently. I will admit the prices are a little high, but the service, professionalism and knowledge that you receive in return is easily worth the price. I have always received great advice and would recommend the store to anyone seeking real health benefits, versus some 'fad' that reaps no reward. The frozen yogurt is delicious and the Swiss/Avocado sandwich is great.

Random. It's a vitamin shop with frozen yogurt, but dang, that's the best frozen yogurt you'll ever have. I'm not going to be all cheesy about it, but know that it's good. Know it! Lol.

Some things to note are to bring cash since there's a $10 minimum and that the frozen yogurt here is a different style than you get at most yogurt shops. On the same note, that means that there isn't a topping bar with random fruits, chocolates and cereals. No biggie. You don't really need it anyway.

Plaza Health foods is a great place to buy vitamins. Its a charming little gem of a health food store in Snider Plaza. Max, the owner (and an ex professional ballet dancer!) was knowledgeable, helpful and even gave me a free frozen yogurt (which was delicious and refreshing) with purchase of my food based vitamins. I just feel better buying my vitamins from a certified nutritionist rather than from some random grocery clerk.

Prices high. Do NOT get the cookies at the front that are labeled dairy free and wheat free- they are so incredibly stale. Which is a really big shame. I wondered if the guy at the front was the owner- he told me there was a $10 minimum for debit cards (seriously?!) So I had to buy two overpriced kombuchas as well. Lame. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because I guess it could have been an off day. That and the fact there were close to 10 Highland Park mommys and their spawn littering the homemade frozen yogurt area.. so it must be good, right?

Located in the midst of clothing and knickknack stores, you'll find Plaza Health Food Inc.

We looked at buying some CLA, but we thought the prices were a little high. As much as I like to support local stores, vitamins are just cheaper on-line. We didn't buy any vitamins on our visit.

However, It was about 3 o'clock and we were looking for something to hold us over until dinner. Luckily for us, Plaza Health Food sells frozen yogurt. I didn't have a chance to look a the nutritional information, but I am sure it was healthier then say a Braum's sundae.

I haven't actually purchased anything healthy here, per se, but I can tell you that they have delicious soft-serve frozen yogurt!

Good, fresh, frozen yogurt is tough to find, but the Plaza does it well. They change the flavors often enough that you'll rarely have the same flavor and even though their flavor selection is small, they're likely to have something to entice anyone's tastebuds. I think they always have chocolate and vanilla and they rotate out two other flavors (last time - I had a black cherry/peach swirl - yum!)

It's self-serve, so grab yourself a cup and
