I empower busy people who successfully balance work, family, social life, and many other commitments, but who struggle with their health, to finally reach their goals and feel confident about their bodies.

I'm a 35-year-old health and wellness coach and owner of The Lyons' Share Wellness. I live in Dallas with my husband, Kevin (we met on move-in day at Harvard 17 years ago, and started dating two weeks later!) and our adorable dogs, Maverick and Riley. My passion in life is helping others feel amazing, inside and out.
The more whole foods, the better. I believe in fueling up on as many vegetables as possible - they give us energy, prevent disease, help maintain a healthy weight, and improve digestion. There's simply no better food on the planet. After that, every person is unique- some do well with meat, others tolerate grains; some need to prioritize an anti-inflammatory diet, others need help reducing sugar.

But no one needs another highly-educated person droning on with her head stuck in her notes while the audience falls asleep.

I reached out to Megan when I was in a rut. I wasn't happy with how I felt about the food I was eating, and I didn't know how to get myself out of it. Megan met me exactly where I was. And she did not offer a fad diet or an extreme weight loss plan. She offered small, meaningful, achievable goals. My first goal: eat one plant-based snack per day. Sounds simple, right? Last year, I decided to do something about the fact that I was overweight and out of shape. I’d approached these problems in the past with a combination of harsh diets and punishing exercise routines. That worked, but the effort was unsustainable. After a while, I’d return to bad eating habits and stop exercising.

I started seeing Megan because I had stomach issues and needed to work on my relationship with food. Megan gave me strategies backed by research to help me make better choices about food so I felt my strongest. Whether meal planning or looking at menus before going out to eat with friends, she made sure I was prepared to make good choices. She is incredibly motivating and tailored our sessions and communications to what I needed each week/month. I can't stop telling everyone in my life about Megan and her 10-day reset program. I learned so much about self-compassion, nutrition, diet culture, exercise and food prep/planning. My husband and I felt pretty good for a couple of people with half a century under our belts, but that’s where we wanted help. We were already committed to working out regularly and staying active, but our eating habits needed a boost. I started working with Megan Lyons right before I got in an accident that left me barely moving for months. Although my original plans of working out were derailed, Megan coached me on healing foods and healthy habits to adopt to quicken the healing process. I don't even have adequate vocabulary to express what a tremendous help Megan has been to me.
I started working with her to gain control over emotional eating. I was thinking I would get tips on how to curb cravings or something.
Oh no! It was SO much better and deeper than that! Megan and I dug in and found the source of emotional eating. We worked on that, and the emotional eating went away without my even noticing it.

Megan was a good cheerleader but I found her advice (tons vegetables & super-specialty gluten-free and other packaged foods that she recommended) to be not very original and difficult to follow.

Megan is an amazing communicator, and on top of that she knows her stuff about nutrition and exercise.
She was great at listening to what I was currently doing and via the Reset, really helped me start my work towards me getting to where I want to be.
Her Reset was really a wake up call for me. I thought I kind of ate healthy, but when given the constraints of the Reset to live by for just 10 days I was forced to realize just what I had been actually doing with my eating. The Reset was tough but my bodies response was immediate.
I really enjoyed it and intend to do it at least annually.

Megan is absolutely wonderful!

I pride myself on being a very balanced and clean eating individual; however, over the last year I started experiencing digestive issues. I tried to continue to just eat clean and thought it would get better. I finally broke down and began research nutritionists and health coaches. Enter Megan into my life. After our initial consultation she recommended a Refocus package, since I was generally on-track with my diet and exercise (nice that she recognized this and did not try to up charge me!). My husband and I have always worked hard at living a healthy lifestyle - from eating well to maintaining good exercise habits. One year ago today I emailed Megan for help. I was a couple months into working at a startup, where the hours are just as long (and the diets are just as unhealthy) as expected. In exchange for the fun and challenging startup world, I had given up my previous meal-planning habits in favor of the free pita chips and sour patch kids. These meals were not powering me through my long days, let alone a workout (which I didn't think I had time for).

I've lost the weight and have been able to keep it off with a genuine smile on my face because of Megan's healthy coaching perspective and ability to tailor my eating and workout habits to my lifestyle. I came to Megan as I was preparing for my wedding and wanted to get in the best shape possible. I spent last year training for an Ironman and had put on both muscle weight as well as "I could eat a horse right now" weight from all of the training.

Megan was incredible. She really tried to understand my lifestyle and the challenges I face that go with it. She never advised me to just skip an event to avoid a tough situation...rather she armed me with tips and tricks in how to be successful despite it all!

I participated in Megan’s 2 week spring reset and I am so happy that I did. The results were great! I was full of energy and felt great about myself. During the reset I started my day with a cleansing beverage in the morning and then created meals from her recommended list. Megan provided meal options for vegans and vegetarians which was fantastic. You can tell Megan is extremely passionate about what she does. Anytime I had a question, Megan would promptly respond. I highly recommend Megan as a health coach.

Megan is absolutely wonderful and is a great coach! She is really passionate about healthy eating, fitness and helping others to find something that works best with their lifestyle. She really cares about her customers and will go above and beyond to make sure she is helping each person in the best way possible! Before meeting Megan, I hated running, and now I run 2-3 times/week and have actually started to enjoy it! I am also much more careful about my eating.
