Miri is a Family and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She achieved her bachelors and masters of science in Midwifery and Women's Health from Columbia University in New York City. She then completed a post-masters certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Massachusetts.

Just Living Healthcare is a specialty medical practice offering minor urgent care, lactation services for moms and babies, and women's health services in the Anacortes area. Office visits are available seven days a week in downtown Anacortes. Home visits are provided throughout Skagit County including Anacortes, Whidbey Island, Mount Vernon and La Conner.
Minor urgent care services and medical consultations are available for men, women and children of all ages. Routine or last minute appointments are available in our Anacortes office seven days a week. Online video visits and home visits are also available. Miri can test your child for strep throat, check your urine for a bladder infection or listen to your lungs to determine if you have bronchitis or pneumonia.
As a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, Miri is well versed in the intricacies of gynecologic care. Miri can provide comprehensive women's healthcare to women of all ages. Miri is sensitive to the needs of her patients and ensures that her patients feel comfortable when discussing personal topics with her.
Miri is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) that provides lactation consultations for breastfeeding moms and babies. Although breastfeeding does comes easily to a few select women, most moms need some extra help getting breastfeeding established. A small percentage of women are faced with significant breastfeeding issues and need extensive support from a lactation consultant.
Miri offers several classes for her patients in order to help them achieve their goals. Miri provides individual sessions or group classes at her Anacortes office or in your home. Classes are a one time, intensive session with all the important details you need to know! Most classes will be covered by your health insurance with no additional charge to you.
