Services
Perimenopause and menopause can be a challenging time in a woman's life. Many women's midlife needs are not fully appreciated and addressed by their medical providers. There are numerous effective strategies for treating menopausal symptoms. I delight in providing expert information and treatment options to women at this time of life.
A colposcopy is done when a Pap test is abnormal or if there is evidence of significant human papilloma virus (HPV) on the cervix. This procedure provides important information about whether a woman is at risk for cervical cancer. I explain the significance of HPV and abnormal Pap tests in understandable terms and perform the procedure with utmost consideration for the patient's comfort.
I specialize in insertion and removal of IUDs and birth control implants. I offer prescription and management of contraceptive options including natural family planning, barrier methods, pills, patches and rings. Counselling to support women and teens in making informed decisions regarding safe, responsible and satisfying sexuality.
