Was having trouble finding the right rugelach or hamantashen I wanted right before Christmas, so I came here after going to another place and hitting a dead end. Everything I got was very good, though I must say when I walked in the place had a very weird smell throughout. Then again, they make a ton of different baked goods, so maybe one of the more exotic ones used some ingredient I'm not familiar with. The rye bread I got was very good. The blueberry hamantashen was very good. The raisin cinnamon rugelach were large and tasted great. The only slight misfire maybe was the black and

I really like this Small mom and shop spot in Pico Robertson. The service is good, and everything I've had here has been delicious. My bf and I love this bakery as it is walking distance from the house in BH, and I love taking in all of the Jewish culture. I am proud of my Jewish heritage, but was not exposed to anything like this until I moved out of Orange County. The little things make my heart sing, like, seeing shop signs in Yiddish. (Which brings back pleasant memories of my Ashkenazi side...)

The challah is delicious, the jam filled sufganiyot amazing, rugelach is very tasty, and

I Love This Bakery!!!
Lately, been coming here for their Seeded Corn Rye Bread. Quite addicting I might add. Large round loaf $4.50. Recently I have added their Rugelach, I think they're $12 or $14 per pound. The wife really likes those...(so do I). And today I added two other big pastries. A huge one that's cherry filled and also a similar sized one that was apple filled with sliced almonds on top. See the pictures. So what started out costing $4.50...then around $16 to $17 with the added Rugelach is now $23-24. And btw...worth every penny.
The store is COVID sensitive with store associates

The best and freshest bakery just a walk from where I live. However, I wish they made fresh apple 🍎 pies. The Challah tastes better than the kosher bakeries. Oh, did I mention the real Jewish Rye?

Place is great with alot of the baking goods here at the Beverlywood Bakery. My first time here and we enjoyed alot of the goods we purchased here. Corn muffins, Mesito bread, Banana bread I am a big fan of.They also had a few of the norms as of donuts and cookies. Great looking ol style Bakery. Parking can be troublesome to find. But i got kind of lucky into not struggling with the parking issue. Staff and owners are nice here as well. Id love to come back again.

Cookies were big & yummy. Not a warm friendly corner bakery, aging & kinda dark but products are consistently good. $$$ Anyone know where to buy a NY bakery style crumb-cake?

Finally came in yesterday for some bakery goods and to support a local business. Definitely the closest to an New York bakery I've been to since my move here. Friendly customer service and great wide range of treats that I loved buying. Especially an Italian New York bakery classic, Black & White cookies. Definitely will be returning often & highly recommend them for anyone near by looking for bakery goods. Glad their still open during this pandemic period.

I have gone here since I was a little girl. I may be a bit biased because this bakery has so many good memories for me, but I love everything here. My parents do as well. Everyone is so sweet and the food is amazing!! Beats any bakery near where I currently live. It’s always worth the drive. Definitely recommend!

Excellent service for excellent product. Their roulettes are the most moist and delicious I have ever had. Everytime I serve it, my guests always ask me where I got it from. Family owned business. Totally recommend checking it out.

The bakery has one of the best rugleachs available here in the LA area. The chocolate chip cookies were also good as well. Definitely recommend for good pastries. The only thing is that the staff are not as friendly and it is a bit pricy.

It's been years since we were there so for old times sake we bought some pastries. The cinnamon croissants were heavy and not very flaky. And couldn't taste any cinnamon.

So disappointed!

Outstanding smells and tastes are pervasive here. The real deal. A great old-time bakery with a legendary presence on Pico Bl in LA. Try their rolls, rugullah and their dark bread with raisins. Yummy, all.

Sadly...after loving this bakery since I was a child...the owner has disappointed me too many times. We drove all the way from Las Vegas to go to Beverlywood and he refused to let me special order anything - actually yelling at me that he is never out of stock of our favorite items. After a four hour drive, Beverlywood was out of marble cake and happy face cookies with the girls at the counter unwilling to even check the back for stock. Alex, the owner is a perfect example of how awful customer service can turn even the best product into a disappointing experience. I see many other bakeries

It's okay - they've changed their hours due to COVID-19 to 7am-5pm. I bought some rainbow cookies for a small get together. They were incredibly priced. The owner or manager seemed to be frustrated because only two people are allowed at a time and I was with my husband. Anyways, I understand he probably lost a lot business when everything was shut down. But aside from that, I do not feel like they handled credit cards safely. The other customer asked if they had cakes for diabetics and the same manager / owner was so rude to the man. The cookies were not a hit at all, they were incredibly dry.

This is a wonderful Jewish bakery located in the Pico Robertson district. They have a nice selection of all your traditional treats, including breads, cakes, pastries, etc. I found the people working there to be very friendly and courteous. Be aware that it is not very spacious inside, so they only allow two people inside at a time due to the pandemic. You'll have to form a line outside to wait your turn if there are already people inside.

It's ashame that their customer service is deplorable because their baked goods are good!! I called in to get information about their baked goods and the gentleman that answered the phone was extremely rude!!... I don't know if he was the owner but whoever he was should not be answering the phone!!! Every time I've been at the bakery to buy baked goods the young ladies that work there are always rude and seem like they don't want to be bothered!!! I will never be going back to this bakery again!!!?? TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

It's a lovely little Jewish bakery. They have a wide variety of breads and sweet desserts. I bought close to $50 worth of stuff because it all looked so good and couldn't decide what I really wanted. My top 3 items were the giant hamentashen, the cheese danish, and the rugalach.

You can't go wrong with any of these tasty treats in the store. Also bring your child and they'll order a free cookie to them. Can't beat that!

The goods are tasty but the owner is SO RUDE!!
I wanted to order soft Homentashen and he told me to call the day before fri, when they make them,to order.
When I called , he literally yelled at me that they don't take orders " because of the virus". I asked him what he meant by that, but he just kept yelling very loudly and disrespectfully and told me he was busy and hung up on me. What has happened to respect for fellow humans, not only for customers?

The bakery goods are actually quite tasty and the rugalach pastry is very delicious. The reason for the two star is their customer service is indeed some of the worst for a bakery or really any restaurant business. We walked in and asked if they had any more sugar free crossiants and she looked at us like we didn't know what we were talking about then says no we don't have sugar free because it Hanukkah. So we proceed to pick out other baked goods and the entire time she acted like we were bothering her. When we took the last of the rugalach she sighed acted disturbed because there was

Wonderful Jewish bakery own by Russian Jewish emigrant. I used to live not far away and it was my favorite bakery. I believe it had been on this spot for over 40 years. Great rye bread, so much delicious variety of baked goods - poppy seed and linzer tarts, eclers, all kind of berry pastries are my favorite along with croissants. It's so hard to choose when you in a store!
