In 1951, our father Reynaldo Robledo was born in the pueblo of Atacheo, high atop the Sierra Madre Mountains in the state of Michoacan, Mexico. In 1968 at the young age of 16, Reynaldo came to Napa, California as a Mexican migrant vineyard worker earning $1.10 an hour and $1.50 on Sundays. Through working in the vineyards during the day and living at the Christian Brothers labor camp, our father developed a bond and passion for the wine industry.

This 2018 "El Rey" Cabernet Sauvignon is a beautiful, dark ruby color with aromas of blackberries, black pepper, vanilla, cedar, and spices. On the palate, it has hints of fruity blackberries, plums, vanilla, tobacco, and licorice. It has a well-rounded finish, ending with silky and earthy notes. This 2018 Tempranillo is medium bodied with a rich ruby color and aromas of blackberry and plum.

I stopped in here with my husband after seeing that it actually allowed picnicking! It was the first winery we found that did this and also had wines by the glass. We navigated there easily and were also able to get parking right in front. The views were stunning. You get to sit right in the valley overlooking green mountains and beautiful grape vines. The view was one of the best.
Our server Gabby was friendly, told us the history and was also informative. She also took her time with the wine and didn't being them out too quickly. Our whole tasting took about 1.5 hrs. So keep this in mind if

I really wanted to like this winery due to the story but...
We tasted the Library Wines (best of the best) which are three cabs that go for $100-$110/bottle ($45/person). None of them were good despite being aged Cabs. We also tasted the middle level wines which were the Private Releases ($40/person) and none of those were good. It was a cold and rainy day and the indoor tasting room had no heat, a cold concrete floor and fluorescent lights. Finally, the gal pouring for us didn't know much about the wines despite being the owner's daughter. To me, that's three strikes and I was cheering for them

This was our last stop on our Sonoma wine tasting tour. The Robledo family began by working in vineyards during the 1940s through the braceros program. Today they own the first winery in the United States to be founded by Mexican vineyard workers! We felt very welcomed and valued at their winery. The wines were delicious and the service was very attentive and accommodating.

What a beautiful winery, family, and product! Your visit is relaxing and rich in history. The staff treat you like family and you are not pressured to join one of the very well thought out 'club' plans. We are red fans, but here we even found a tasty white to cook with. I find myself planning weekends with the Robledo farm in mind!

This place came recommended by a coworker. It's a beautiful family owned vineyard with a rich history and culture. I took my mom for Mother's Day and I can't wait to go back. The staff was so nice and we had a great time. We had an appointment but I don't think we needed one. It's a big open space with tables and chairs . Apparently they have dancing and performances on occasion.

I was amazed on the their tasting so much I found myself purchasing several bottles and signing up for their membership. We were enthusiastically greeted by several people upon entering but our host Gabrielle was the best. She was knowledgeable and adapted our tasting to what we liked best in wines. I'm glad there are wineries that allow you to picnic which allowed us to spend more time tasting. Thanks Gabrielle for the awesome tasting and we will be back soon to purchase more.

This was my first wine tour and I felt this winery was very brusque to the tour people. Put them outside on picnic benches instead of inside at the nice tables. Handed them plastic glasses vs nice glasses that other customers were given and they were being treated like royalty. Never offered them cheese and crackers like they did to the other customers. Asked why gave a pathetic excuse of they get to keep the glasses. Stay away from this place

We were very fortunate to have this as our last stop on our wine tasting tour. We felt comfortable. We felt appreciated. We felt valued. The wines were crisp, tasty, affordable, and there was one for every palate. Our server was very welcoming and knowledgeable about each wine she poured...so much so that we ended up spending close to $500 in parting prizes . Our hosts are members and we understood the draw. The history of the Robledo family was something that I admired and was very proud of. I will look forward to visiting in our future visits to Sonoma.

A must visit while in Sonoma. Great people and great wines. We tried a 2006 Cab and it was insane!! The best wine we had tasted in Napa and Sonoma. Very chill and relaxing place on their patio.
Unfortunately our last stop before heading to the airport so we didn't have much time so our loss. We can't wait to return in Oct. Give yourself plenty of time to hang out there.

Nice, friendly, warm, festive atmosphere with some cool Mexican music in the background. We went for the reserve Napa cab tastings. Solid wines, my favorite was the 2012 and 50th anniversary cab. Although the tasting was kinda pricey, they did pour us some extra tastings,to include that 50th. Nice history, interesting bottle artwork. We would return.

A sweet little spot right at the beginning of wine country. We spent a nice few hours there, nicely socially distanced on their huge patio while we had a specially curated tasting. It wasn't intended to be specially curated on our part, their staff was just so helpful and accommodating that it turned into one!
We liked every single wine we sampled (can't say that for every winery we went to that day!).
We bought bottles of their Sauvignon Blanc, two-gold-star winning 2018 Tempranillo and white port (I know, white port. Must. Try.). The latter two were add-ons to the standard tasting

My girlfriends and I loved everything about this winery! From how friendly the associates over the phone were, to how easy it was to make a reservation, to the hospitality day of!
The winery has a beautiful fountain, vineyards, and a backdrop of rolling hills. The patio is shaded and large (it was windy on Saturday and the patio got chilly). Luis was our server and he was generous and attentive. My group of five girlfriends and I got the Sauvignon Blanc and Seven Brothers Cab - both excellent and thanks to Luis for letting us sample them before we ordered. There was ample space for parties to

Robledo Family Winery has a lot going for it. The scenery on arrival is striking overlooking vineyards and rolling hills as far as the eye can see. There is a generous space here including a traditional-looking structure, courtyard area, covered patio and an inside tasting room with a large communal table where the wine-tasting happens (as well as a collection of bar stools).
The family history and history of the winery is charming talking about a grower that emerged to create what you see today; the winery remains family owned with a greater focus on growing grapes for other wineries

I have nothing but great things to say about this winery! It's in a great location with absolutely breathtaking views of the vineyards. Their building is gorgeous too.
You can do outdoor or indoor seating - they have both! - for tastings which is really convenient for windier days (but otherwise I'd say sit outside for the views).
Their wine is DELICIOUS. I'm not even a huge fan of reds but I liked theirs! I ended up buying 2 bottles after the tasting because their wine was just something I couldn't leave without!
If you're struggling to pick wineries to visit in the area, don't leave this one
