As your Central Ohio Home Inspector, our home inspection firm inspects all of the areas listed to the right of your screen. All of these items are evaluated for their performance and ability to function as originally designed. The process of providing these evaluations for the home and the items listed is usually a three to four hours process.
Radon can easily be tested and testing can usually be done with minimal invasion to the homeowner. Cost of testing a small home is in the $100-150 dollar range and results are normally provided within 52 hours after the test equipment is set in the home. H to H Services L.L.C. uses the Sun Nuclear 1028 continuous radon monitoring system.
As we have mentioned in our virtual Home Inspection tour, moisture is the single most common problem for any home. Moisture can come from many sources. A leaky faucet, leaky roof or missing downspout. It can also cause problems in less obvious ways. Lack of ventilation or by freezing and thawing of building materials.
There is a difference in Inspectors and the Inspections they provide. Looking for an inspector who truly cares about you and your purchase is very important. Certified through AHIT, and licensed in Ohio, Steve has continued to stay up to date with the construction industry through continuing education from ASHI and Ohio ASHI.
