Services
G&G Marine was established in 1974 and is the oldest continually operating ship husbandry company in the United States. The company was established primarily to serve the ship husbandry needs within the maritime industry. From those humble beginnings G&G Marine has successfully developed and expanded operations to include diving for bridges, pipeline, refinery and cooling towers throughout the continental United States.
A great savings to the ship owner/operator is the ability to have an Underwater Inspection in-Lieu of Dry-docking (UWILD). Here again, G&G Marine serves its clients with professional quality. We are approved/certified by ABS, DNV-GL, Lloyd's, BV, NKK and RINA (and recognized by most Class Societies.)
From Tug Boats and Yachts to Barges and Tankers, G&G Marine has been called upon to assist with salvage operations. Through our experience, G&G Marine has developed methods of bottom sweeps and surveys to ensure that no equipment, debris or pollutant will be left behind post-salvage operations.

Our expertise, equipment and fast response has aided ship owners/operators to minimize loss and contain pollution all over the Gulf of Mexico and East Coast.Let us put our four decades of experience and reputation to work for you on a 24 hour basis.
Experienced ship owners and operators know in today's sensitive environment keeping a fleet shipshape takes more than just thorough planning. It is as important how ship maintenance is performed as when it is performed. When ships begin to lose speed and fuel efficiency the loss of profits is never far behind.
When problems with sea valves happen, it is not always convenient to wait until the next drydocking. Therefore, it is essential that sea valves be opened while the vessel remains afloat. For this we use our own fabricated blanks specially measured to fit over sea chests and overboard discharges. When blanks are secured in place this then enables the inboard crew to maintain or replace sea valves as necessary.
