Trinity Church Nursery School is a non-denominational preschool dedicated to the belief that each child is a precious individual with a unique pattern of development. From November through March, Trinity hosts monthly "Gives Back" events where the children create crafts for people in nursing homes and rehabilitation centers in the area.
Each event has a different type of project for the kids to work on and is followed by a book being read aloud that encapsulates the theme of the month. The children also go caroling at several local retirement communities to bring holiday cheer to the residents. KE Applications for the 2021-22 school year will be sent out in February/early March.

Healthy snacks are requested to promote good nutritional habits. Please note that the entire school is peanut and tree nut free, so please read labels carefully when providing the snack for the class. Bakery items are not acceptable since there is a risk cross-contamination. All snack items must be store bought (not homemade) and sent to school in their original, unopened packaging.
TCNS is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) under their newly revised, rigorous set of standards that were adopted in 2006. In choosing a school with NAEYC accreditation, parents are assured of experiencing the highest quality programming for their young child.
The 4-Year-Old Program is a continuation of playing and learning with peers through the use of age-appropriate topics and materials, with an emphasis on kindergarten readiness skills. Highlights include learning numbers and letters using creative, play-based methods, participating in rug time and following multi-step directions.
We believe that every child is a precious individual with a unique pattern of development. We provide a play based, child-centered program that fosters social, emotional, intellectual and physical growth. Through carefully planned activities and play opportunities in a structured physical environment we give children room to stretch their imaginations and abilities and try the untried.

We are in our second year of school at Trinity, and could not be happier with our choice to send our son here. The teachers are friendly and really wonderful about truly getting to know each child. The Director, Ms. Sue, gives the entire place a happy glow and really fosters a sense of community. And it is a school that offers plenty of opportunities for parents to meet each other, get to know each other better, etc.

Our family has been at Trinity Church Nursery School (TCNS) for 7 years now and it has been a wonderful experience for our children as well as our entire family. The teachers are smart, fun, knowledgeable and "get" all of our kids -- recognizing what interests they have and how to inspire life-long learning in them. The TCNS community is welcoming and caring and always looking out for the families that are in the school. Our children have entered kindergarten prepared academically, socially, emotionally thanks to Trinity.
