With a combined 20+ years living and working as Northeast Minneapolis and Twin Cities realtors, we know the neighborhoods, we know the market. We have the knowledge to provide well informed, friendly, effective advice. Jim Dropps is broker, realtor, and owner of Northeast Real Estate Group. After growing up in a real estate and construction family in the North Metro, Jim moved to Minneapolis in 2000 to attend the University of Minnesota.

Jim is the best! We bought a condo sight-unseen in the Twin Cities. He was incredible, listened carefully to us about exactly what we wanted/needed in a home and gave honest feed back about what might be available in the market. He took all our thoughts on board and we trusted his judgment when we found a perfect property in relatively short order. We couldn’t be happier with our new home

Jim was very knowledgeable about the market and what we needed to do to get top dollar for our home. Our first buyer fell through yet he managed to negotiate a better price on the final sale. He never tried to push us into a decision we didn’t want to make. Highly recommend.

Jim Dropps helped us to purchase our first home in NE Minneapolis and we cannot recommend him highly enough. Selling and buying a house is a stressful process that turns your life upside down for months on end. From the to-do lists that need to get tackled before posting to inspections and closing. There are a lot of unknowns, throw a pandemic in the mix for a special kind of fear-stress amalgamation.
We first contacted Jim as we were thinking of selling our storybook NE bungalow. This was in February of 2020. He helped us narrow down the to-do list to a manageable level and told us not worry about getting offers. Then came full on lock-down. We were worried but still knocked out the to-do list and continued

We worked with Jim to purchase our first home. He was extremely patient, diligent, and professional throughout the process. We were moving from out of state, so relied on Jim to be our "eyes" and explore several homes as aligned with an ever evolving criteria. We have now worked with Jim Dropps to purchase two homes and sell a home. He has been remarkable to work with! What strikes us most about Jim's approach, is he acts with a great amount of integrity, which is helpful for all involved parties.
