Savannah Steele (what a movie star name!) did a great job helping me find an apartment in downtown Minneapolis. This rental market is much more difficult than my previous one and wow did I need the help. I'm high maintenance with specific needs and a ridiculous work schedule and she did a great job taking care of me. See you when I am ready to buy a house/condo:)

My Wife and I are moving to MN, Minnesota and used the services of DRG, we had the absolute pleasure of getting Ellie, she set up showings and escorted us through each one. She is super knowledgeable and super friendly! It is without question that she made our visit to MN, Minnesota so much better. She was more than her job she was like a long lost friend. 10 out of 10 would recommend using DRG, I hope y’all get Ellie!

I had a very positive experience living in the North Loop of Minneapolis, however had an extremely negative experience working with DRG.
From the very beginning, they acted slimy. When first touring the unit (that I ended up renting for a year and a half), Paul from DRG used a high pressure sales tactic of portraying high demand for the unit, saying that there had been many showings since it was first listed days ago (when I knew it had been on the market/for rent for multiple weeks) and requesting that today (can't wait until tomorrow or the next day) I offer above the asking rent, or else he

DRG Aleksa Montpetit helped us sell our downtown condo in the midst of one of the most tumultuous years in a lifetime. She went above and beyond in assisting us with association management and service team members as we had moved already were living a fair distance away. She got our home sold in a reasonable amount of time and at a good price despite changing market conditions. We slept well knowing Aleksa was on it!

Doing business with DRG feels like you’re doing business with a friend. I’ve worked with them on both renting and buying throughout the years and it’s been such a pleasant experience every time. They’ve also been there for valuable advice even when I’m not using their service and have saved me time and money with their expertise. Patrick Carson and Mike Seebinger are gems and I wouldn’t dream of using any other company. They’re a perfect example of how to do everything right with clients.

My partner and I decided to look for a condo to purchase, it was our first time ever purchasing something as we’ve always rented. We were a bit nervous going into the process as we’ve heard the typical horror stories like the competitiveness in the Twin Cities and all the struggles that go with the buying process.
We couldn’t be more happy with reaching our to DRG. Our realtor Paul Begich made us feel so comfortable and at ease from the moment we met with him. He walked us step-by-step through the different processes and what to expect. He provided awesome recommendations for Mortgage Brokers

Worked with Trent to find a rental downtown, he went above and beyond to help us find the perfect place. He spent a LOT of time doing tours for us because we wanted to see a lot of options, and always pointed out honest pros and cons for each place. I would recommend DRG, and specifically Trent to anyone!

I wish I had seen the reviews prior to signing up with DRG and its owner, Joe Grunnet...
So learn from my mistake and read the reviews: common themes include unprofessional behavior, unethical sales and rental tactics, and overall lack of experience and common sense. We had two listings with Joe and his protégé, Isaac (who is currently a full time undergrad student), and had to pull one listing, but were stuck on another because the buyer's agent contacted me directly and I referred them to DRG (major faux pas on my end). We are in the process of closing that sale and the amount of things

We worked with DRG for three weeks trying to find a condo. Throughout this time the realtors we worked with were ineffective, communication was poor and inaccurate, and we decided to look elsewhere.
I would not recommend working with this group. This group is unethical.

Moving is stressful, but doubly so when it's across country. Knowing next to nothing about the rental market in Minneapolis, yet needing to find a short-term temp apartment that would accept my 2 over-50 lbs dogs with a lease agreement setup remotely, I luckily stumbled across Brooks Borell and DRG. Everyone I worked with was professional and amazing. I went from panicked at needing a place in less than 2 weeks, to relaxed and confident that all my requirements were met - max 4 months, dogs (with deposit waived!), underground parking for a behemoth non-city-sized truck, willingness to work

Joe Grunnet is a very ineffective realtor. Wouldn't show me a property & stated it was because I couldn't afford it. I had to go with another realtor after that obviously & I ended up owning that property as the 1st buyer.

Then I received lots of junk mail from DRG & personal signed letter from Joe Grunnet over the last several years after requesting him to cease all communication.

Recently received a personal signed letter from Joe & had to report this harassment to the MN Dept of Commerce.

I found Katie Malinsky pretty randomly while looking online for a place to rent. She immediately made herself available to me, and showed me close to a dozen apartments. Her follow up was actually more than I bargained for, as I was moving in slow, reluctant motion...struggling with relocating/downsizing. Katie was amazingly patient and compassionate about my transition. I would highly recommend her.

This review is for Katie M, who helped us find a home on relatively short notice. We contacted her on a Monday, and within hours she had sent us dozens and dozens of properties for our review. She was able to facilitate setting up tours of our favorites (on a Sunday, no less!), and when we finally settled on the one we wanted after waffling for a bit, she helped us through the leasing process while we were out of town. She was very responsive and presented all of our questions and concerns to the landlord's agents. We are happily settled, but if we ever move again within the Cities, we will

Sketchy!

We recently worked with DRG to purchase a condo in Minneapolis. After several months of working with DRG, we realized there is a very concerted effort to get us, the buyer, at or above "full ask". This occurred even when we believed/knew there was room for negotiation.

At first, we thought these recommendations were simply based on the competitive seller's market, which is certainly the current environment. However, we put an offer on a condo, about 20k under ask, and the realtor said "the seller will laugh at us" and essentially refused to present our

I'm going to go ahead and downgrade my rating of DRG. You can read my original review but after an incident happened mid-June of 2016 that left my rental property in immediate need of around $15k-20k in repair, DRG has spent every ounce of energy convincing me that all they do is play messenger between myself and the owner (aka taking no actual ownership but to me, DRG is my "landlord"). It was not fully fixed until after Labor Day.

DRG and anyone involved at least on the rental side of this company has been nothing but a sheer embarrassment. Helpful Hint: Most renters in the areas

I don't doubt those who have had a fabulous experience purchasing or selling with DRG, but I can't say the same coming from a renter of one of their clients' properties. I learned that their rental services are included as part of their leasing process which is great for the owner, but not so good for the renters. Carol and Matt have been good with communicating and answering questions, but the rest of the organization treats you like you are a leftover. They clearly need to require payments for rental services from owners if money is what drives this company to provide proper and

We used DRG to find the apartment we are moving into next week and have to admit it has been a very frustrating experience. I had heard great things about them from friends and co-workers, but unfortunately, we were not left with the same feelings. They were quick to respond for showings and whenever a check/deposit was needed -- but were very unorganized and unclear with the entire process from start to finish. We worked mostly with the agent's assistant who was either on vacation for half the time or very unclear in her communication.

A few examples: it took about 10 emails to finally

Downtown Resource Group is a weird little place.

I walked in a couple weeks ago looking to talk to the listing agent of an apartment that I was interested in renting and he wasn't there which is totally fine. But when I asked if anyone else could help me, three employees and the receptionist literally just shook their heads and offered no suggestions.

So after 5 emails and several phone calls and voicemails to the agent and the office, I finally gave up. I never heard anything. Radio Silence! I was extremely interested in the apartment they had for rent, but evidently they weren't

Not too sure why DRG does exactly.

I stopped by their offices on Washington Ave last week and was hoping to find some properties that were available. I waited in what I believe was the front waiting area for close to 5 minutes. There was a female and male typing away at their computers and clearly too busy to look up to help me.

So, I bounced.

Here's a tip, when I possible customer walks in, acknowledge them. It's an effective way to help build your business.

I have used DRG for the leasing and management of my two-bedroom condo in St. Louis Park and can't say enough about the great, responsive service I have received from the team.

Within a week of inquiring about their leasing process, I had an agent out at my house to discuss my options and he helped me to make an informed decision on what my unit was worth in the current market. Following our discussion, they were quick to list the unit and promoted it in a variety of ways, including their Facebook page and other on-line resources. Two days and multiple showings later, I had a fantastic renter

We used DRG when we made the giant leap of moving in together 2 years ago. We knew we wanted to live in the North Loop, but it's pretty hard to figure out what a building's name is, if it's an apartment or a condo, and hardest of all, how to get in contact with someone at the building you want to look at.

DRG took care of all that stuff for us. We gave them our wish list & budget and within a few hours, we had 2 appointments for showings.

We ended up renting a condo from an owner who wasn't having luck selling it. The whole process was so simple & great for us since

I received responses to my calls and emails within a few hours. All of my questions about the contract details were thoroughly explained. She even stopped by the apartment and drew up a rough floorplan so I could plan out the space.

Unfortunately, my first choice didn't work out and the place

DRG is amazing. We are relocating to Chicago, and needed to sell our Warehouse District condo. Looking at the competition, we were pretty sold on DRG before we even met with them due to their services and leasing options if you don't sell.

Our agent was Mike, and he was incredibly attentive and responsive. He set us up with an excellent photographer, who even came back a second time when he wasn't pleased with the pictures, since it was a crappy day outside and didn't showcase our unit's natural light. Mike responded to emails practically immediately, and was always available
