Applegate Valley's small vineyard producing wines for the simplest to the most complex palate. Located in the heart of the Missouri Flat area of the Applegate Valley, this unique site produces some of the finest grapes in the Valley. When this 10 acre lot was created, the seasonal Rocky Creek that ran through the middle of the property was moved to the west side. 2 dozers were used to move the soil and creek bed.
This process mixed the differing soil types all the way to bed rock. In 1982, the vineyard was established and after several years, the vineyard no longer required irrigating. Being one of the only dry land farmed vineyards in the Applegate, it produces excellent fruit for wine making. In 1996, the site's first winery (Drobney's Vineyard) was established.

A new way of thinking. Not really! We've been doing it since 2000 and it makes sense. 1. It's GREEN, considering you don't have any capsules/corks/labels and labor getting the wine into bottles. 2. There's no waste! 3. When a keg is delivered, it's the equivalent of 25 bottles. If you're interested in purchasing kegs please contact Rex at the winery: 541.846.6372 or by email.

What you don't get:
Fancy tasting room.
Tasting fee.
Told how great this expensive wine is when your taste buds say "meh"
What you do get:
Pours of whatever you like.
If you don't know what you want, the winemaker will help you figure it out on your own.
A winemaker who's lived for decades in the valley and knows his terroir.
Beautiful, delightful, delicious wine.
Awesome prices.
Hands down best value.
Wine tasting like it was 30 years ago.

What is there left to say? Spretzels are...amazing, yummy, delicious, addicting, the bomb, and ________________(fill in the blank).
Really, I mean it, they really are that good. Crunchy and salty and a bit spicy. A beer with out Spretzels is ok but a beer with Spretzels is AWESOME!!! Get yourself some today!! You can thank me later.

Spretzals are my favorite food on the planet! Staying away from them is my biggest issue as Sandi well knows! I've tried the imposter and it's not even close! Way to spicy and with a weird flavor. Spretzals are the original and the best. Try them by ordering on line or, better yet, go to Rosellas winery in Grants Pass and try them in person with wine. Simply the best.

Ok, so not a fancy tasting room and just a couple of outdoor tables, but what a unique experience. The winemaker himself pours for you and will answer any questions. There is no tasting menu just whatever he decides to hand out. We did ask to try the sherry and port, and he was happy to oblige. We bought several bottles, and went cheerfully along our way.
