Services
The Walport family settled in the Applegate Valley after the 1994 Northridge earthquake caused a fire destroying their home, but leaving the family uninjured. Bruce and Judy started their journey here with cattle, and after many years, their son Eric left for college. The cattle were sold, and the land rested.
The Walport Family Wine Club is the heart and soul of our little winery. Our premium hand crafted wines are produced in extremely small lot sizes with yearly varietal productions running from 40 to 100 cases per year, making each bottle a truly rare & exceptional wine. FREE to join, space in the club is currently available, but limited.

Eric is the most friendly Vintner I've ever met. He greeted us and seated us, and bantered with us about the beauty and complexity of parenthood until we were bent over with laughter. He gave my girlfriend and I both a complimentary tasting with the purchase of one bottle. Each wine was exquisite, and Eric was intimately knowledgable about his vintages. It's called Walport "Family" because they are truly family oriented. Eric's vineyard is next door to his father's property, and his best Pinot is named after his dad, Bruce, who fixed up and gave him his first tractor

My absolute favorite winery in the area!! It is so quaint and beautiful. My husband had an amazing time. It really is a romantic place!! We had the deluxe Charcuterie board and it blew our minds. So much flavor and deliciousness on one board!!! We also did the flight for tasting and ordered a bottle of wine. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend it!!

A little winery, between to larger wineries, but do stop in. they have some big bold reds and a dynamic farming practice. husband and wife team own and operate the place and they are smart and easy to talk too as you sip their wine and look at the beautiful view. they have tables out side too, wonderful place to hang out.
