Please ask for the cost of eye exam before you make an appointment, I was very disappointed that they did not mentioned the cost before booking the appointment with me. This mistake resulted on me paying 150% more than what a exam usually cost. There is plenty of optometry office where you can get your exam wayyy cheaper and with same or better service.

In reviewing the doctors and staff, I have always had excellent service. I’ve seen different doctors and have had consistently thorough care. The optician is a different story. He broke my husbands lenses (while he was standing right in front of him!) with a “these things sometimes happen” attitude and tried to have my husband pay for a new set.

I've been going here for about 5 years. The service is pretty consistent. As with most small offices, sometimes they run a little behind. However, this is usually due to the detailed care and service you get. On my recent visit, the Dr. spent almost 45 minutes helping me identify what had changed in my vision and talking through options.

I have been going to Betty Gould for several years and the service has been consistently small town friendly and big city professional.
