Alpine Optometry

I just saw Dr. Lessani for the first time and was so impressed. She is thorough and explains everything clearly but the visit still felt quick and efficient. She also gave me a sample for eye drops to treat my allergies. Everything was covered by my VSP insurance. Our whole family will definitely be going to this office moving forward and I just wish we had switched sooner.

I am so impressed with Dr. Lessani! She gave me a thorough routine exam and demonstrated exceptional expertise and care.

When I compared my new prescription to my current glasses, I noticed a rather large difference in my left eye and asked her about it. She asked that I come in again so she could check the measurement, at no charge. (Her measurement was confirmed.)

She is a hidden gem in Ladera and worth the journey!

My experience with Dr. Lesani has been overwhelmingly positive. She's taken care of my eyes, provided helpful advice, and measured by eyes carefully for prescriptions. I no longer live close, but I'm happy to make the drive to maintain the level of care I've received.

Dr Lessani is super nice and very thorough. She is very friendly and polite. She made sure I felt comfortable leaving her office knowing she tried to figure out why my eyes felt tired or more difficult to see clearly by the end of the day.

Her receptionist is kind of soft spoken and not your typical perky receptionist but she gets the job done. Nice lady just not much a conversationalist? Only reason why i gave this place a 4 and not a 5 is because I wish there was actually more selection here for the glasses..maybe it wasn't my cup of tea on brands for the frames but I didn't see any

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I have worked with Naomi and she is extremely knowledgeable and helpful in choosing frames, getting the right fit, making repairs and navigating insurance coverage. She kind and friendly too! She never makes you feel rushed or pressured.

Does this place really need another five-star review? Well, they're getting one anyway. My wife has gotten glasses there a few times, but since she doesn't post reviews, and I was there for the whole process, I'm doing the review. I wish I could remember the name of the person who helped us, but she was incredibly helpful and patient at all stages of the process, clearly very knowledgeable and both skilled and meticulous with the fitting process.

My primary care doctor is located in this hidden gem - Ladera Shopping Center in Portola Valley. After my appointment with him, I noticed Alpine Optometry as I was walking back to my car. Having just switched insurances, I knew it was time for me to be seen by an Optometrist.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a smile and a friendly employee... Nothing intimidating about this place even with it's tasteful decor and beautiful store front. They were able to tell me quickly that

I went into Alpine Optometry with a friend and purchased cleaning solution for my anti reflective lenses. I was treated so well that when I needed to have my eyes examined I made an appointment with Dr. Lessani. She performed a very thorough eye exam and identified an issue with my retina which concerned her and she referred me to a specialist at Stanford. I wasn't able to get an appointment at Stanford for two months.

I've worn glasses my whole life. I'm very particular about my eyes and how accurate my prescription for glasses needs to be. That's why I'm so happy about my experience with Dr. Lessani and the entire staff at Alpine Optometry. It's a very warm and professional environment. Everyone is nice and knowledgable. Dr. Lessani did all the pre-testing herself and went over the health of my eyes. She double checked everything, not because of anything I said but because she's that accurate and professional. She is a very warm and gentle person and I never felt rushed.

I needed to special order a pair prescription glacier glasses (for alpine! climbing) , and ended up getting them through A.O. The cost estimate was competitive with every other quote (including online purveyors) I received, but the personal attention from the very helpful and knowledgeable staff was priceless.
