Founded in 1848, the Herzog family winery was renowned as the exclusive wine supplier to the emperor of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Franz Josef, earning one of the early Herzogs the royal title of Baron. Besides attaining royal status, Baron Herzog's wines had also become sought after by a wave of European wine lovers.
The wines became well known for their quality and high standards of production. Smooth textured, full flavored and simply delicious, these wines built a reputation that would prove valuable in later years. The winemaking family left Europe in 1948 and continued their tradition of winemaking excellence in the United States.

What an awesome winery! Tastings were free, staff was SOO friendly and they didn't rush you out the door! Wines were really good and super cheap!!!! They had a huge variety for wines, fruit juices, sangrias... Honestly, something for everybody! We took home so many different bottles from here. I loved the Cream White and Cream Red Concord! Very good! Will definitely be back!!!!

Need some Kosher grape juice or wine? This place has it! Need a great gift idea for wine under $5 a bottle? Kedem has that too... not to mention that it is very good wine as well!
So aside from their own delicious wines, they also import wines from all over the world. Not to mention that they ship their juice everywhere as well. When you come here to sample wine you will be greeted with one of their super friendly and knowledgeable staff.
You can try all different wines and will undoubtedly find something that you love. The best part is that since the tastings are complementary and the wine

Quaint winery hidden in Malboro. As you walk in, the wine room is to your left, they have a vast selection of wines. They also have a few chocolate candies, juices, crackers and jellies. Everything they sell is kosher. They have wine tasting every day. The ladies at the counter are very cordial and chatty. To the back of the building, they have a few tables and chairs. If you decide to stay on location, it is nice to enjoy a glass while seating there. You can purchase wine by the glass or bottle. If you are starting with a glass, they can chill a bottle for you to consume later. They host a

Driving by on a wine tour, we noticed the Free Tasting sign. I also noticed they have a great Yelp check-in discount and online coupon (we didn't take advantage though). Ample parking, easy to turn into, it was a quick decision pit-stop.
Upon entering, there have a beautiful layout. There are bottles lining the wall with a rustic yet old world wine cellar feel. Their pourer is a super charming woman, welcoming you in....but the kicker is-it's free tastings because it's super cheap plain wine on a set tasting menu. Get you in the door, shock you with the prices, probably sell a few

This is a great place to come and enjoy some wine and relax. It was a beautiful day today so after tasting wine and buying two bottles, we sat outside and enjoyed the weather . They have some snacks as well although the pita chips we bought we noticed afterwords that they had expired yesterday, but they were still good lol so whatever.. in all it was a good experience!

This place is a hidden gem! They let you taste for free! Everything is reasonable prices. But tasting for free guys! You read that right. The women Tara is very friendly and informative. We were on a wine tasting mission today and out of four winery's this was the BEST! We bought the most wine here. Check this place out! And it's all kosher. Oh and they have fruit juices and vinegars they make themselves! We bought them too!

I made a stop here when my girlfriend and I were on a short vacation in Poughkeepsie. They don't do tours, but the tastings were free, and the woman who was working there was very friendly. I admitted that I am sort of a newbie to wine tasting and appreciation, so she did a great job of setting up a little tasting that covered quite a few different styles of wine and explained them to me. On top of that, we all ended up having a great conversation. Afterwards, I bought a couple of bottles - everything was quite well priced. You won't find many wineries anymore that don't charge for

The major bonus, tasting is free... but the kinds of wines you taste, maybe not worth the destruction of your taste buds. I like this place because there is a large variety of wines not only just from Kedem farms (I guess), but all over the world. I didn't like this place because the tasting offered up no information on what we were tasting or any description of the wine - much less a full wine list.

This is one of my favorite wine-tasting places! It's free to taste...They are SUPER nice people, very helpful when we wanted to buy what we were tasting...The girl went and got it for us off the shelf. No work involved at all! They have all different varieties too: Reds, whites...Sweet to dry. No complaints...Highly recommend.
The owners keep kosher, so the winery is closed on Saturdays. :-( But they ARE open on SUNDAYS!!

After hiking in the Catskills and visiting Walkway Over the Hudson we decided to try some wine in the region.
First, a few items to note:
- There is no fee for sampling the wine.
- Some pretzels were offered to cleanse the palette.
- All of the wine is kosher.
That said, found the whites to be the most favorable, however, the sampled wines were not well advertised at the establishment and we were unable to find them in the store. Ended up buying a different white and it wasnt too bad.
While Kedem makes some wine onsite, they bottle everything in Bayonne and have many other locations. Thus,
