Benmarl Winery
Nestled in the lush green hills of Marlboro you will find Benmarl Winery. Overlooking the historic Hudson River Valley, it's 37 acre estate lays claim to the oldest vineyard in America. The winery also holds New York Farm Winery license no.1. Although our history runs deep, it is our tireless commitment to quality and consistency that has made us one of the premier wineries in the region.

New York wines are making a name for themselves on the world stage and we are proud to be a leader in this movement. Our focus is on hand crafting wines that capture the essence of where they are sourced. From our estate grown Baco Noir and Cabernet Franc, to our Riesling sourced on Seneca Lake, and Merlot from the north fork of Long Island, we strive to allow our wines to speak of where they are from.

Great wine and friendly staff. No food in the winter months. You can bring your own or order from a not so good over priced pizza place

Beautiful setting, no heat lamps so bundle up if it's fall. Flight was $15 for normal, $20 for what's on reserve. Lovely photo opp with the rolling hills in the background. Sunset was ridiculous. Food was cash only so we needed to go elsewhere.

Visiting from Buffalo and went here with a group of my friends. Amy was an absolute gem and had the best recommendations! The wine list is extensive and the food was the perfect pairing. I even signed up for the wine club with Amy's recommendation. Even though I'm not local, I can still get their wines sent to me!
The scenery is absolutely breathtaking and I cannot wait to visit again next time I'm in town!

I absolutely LOVE Benmarl. I have always found the staff personable and I think the wines are better than some of the other local wineries. I'm confused by people being upset about the 1hr 15 min reservation time. It clearly states it on their reservation page...which you must you to make a reservation. I don't think it's fair to rate a business poorly because you overlooked that detail on the webpage when you made the reservation. The views are AMAZING and I highly recommend it.

Fantastic place. Good wine, great service, awesome views!
This was a busy happenin' place when we visited. We had reservations and were shown to our table with a great view. Our table was uneven(on a slight hill) and they happily let us move to another open table.
My wife enjoyed the wine, I enjoyed a pizza.
Maybe bring cash for food(ATM has $4 surcharge) and expect a line at the bathroom if they're busy.

This place has one of the best views! The grounds are beautiful as well. Excellent service. The gals working here were fantastic. The wines were great. They give you very generous pour for tastings. You can purchase food (cash only). I would love to return again and again!

Amazing winery! We arrived a bit late and was worried our table got given away. But staff was very friendly and sat us right down. The set up was beautiful (not the mention the views!!!) they have a great selection of wine. The food was really good, we got the cheese platter and a flight. Highly recommended !!! Will definitely drive up for another visit

An absolutely beautiful and scenic winery!!! Abundant amount of outdoor seating. Service was fantastic! Wines were very good! I had the reds; my wife had the whites. The Semi-Dry Riesling and the Merlot were our favorites. There is food available from a separate vendor on site. We had the charcuterie board with meat and it was fantastic. Highly recommend checking out this winery on your way through the area.

Had a wonderful time tasting wines in an amazing setting. Wine flights were an excellent value, food choices were good but a bit limited. They seated us even though we showed up drenched in sweat from the hike up the hill!
