This was the second year I have stayed at Sea la Vie. You can’t beat the location to the beach, the cut and the beautiful sunsets. However the owner hasn’t invested back into their home for a long time. Very worn and tired. Needs a complete refresh. Collins people are great to work with and accommodated what they could.

We spent the month of January in Attitude Adjuster and found it more than adequate. The description understates how beautiful and private the property is. It’s a five-minute walk from the beach, but the walks are very pleasant. In fact, the Plantation has a great system of miles of nature paths and bike paths, so it’s a great place to get walking exercise if that’s what you are looking for. The house is well laid out, but like many older, mid-price rentals it could use some upgrades/replacements of some furniture and appliances (outdoor grill and kitchen stove), but everything works. We loved our vacation at St George. Collins responded quickly to a minor concern. They even offered Laundry service while we waited for the washer to be repaired. The house was nice. The only complaint was that the mattresses were very loud and uncomfortable, and need to be replaced. The Kitchen was well stocked and we loved the pool!

RED TIDE AND A RIP-OFF-- We rented Sunflower 2 (772 W. Gorrie Drive) two weeks ago and nobody reached out to warn us that RED TIDE was present. Dead fish everywhere and it's a health hazard for humans and pets. Coughed and hacked every time we went outside until we left early. Collins said "it wasn't their policy" to warn renters about health… hazards. That wasn't the worst of it. This property is owned by a rookie rental property owner who won't spend the money to fix the property. It's nasty and dangerous... the stairs and walkways have loose boards that are nearly rotten. Siding is missing

We arrived at the same time as the first red tide in years. It was so sad, but the views from our balcony were amazing. The house was great and the plantation s community pools were fun as well. On our last full day there, we noticed a volunteer at a sea turtle nest and of course I was curious. She told me they had hatched a few nights before and they were doing an evaluation, which is digging up the nest and counting hatched vs unhatched eggs. However they found on last baby turtle in the nest and my family got to see it released. A truly once in a lifetime experience.

We love St. George Island and we loved working with the folks at Collins Realty. Every contact we had with y’all was friendly and flawless.
The only problem was the peculiar little house we stayed in. Everything was just a little too small. Kitchen too narrow. Refrigerator too small. Dull knives with no knife sharpener. Master bedroom toilet area so small that the toilet roll pushed against your left arm when sitting down and the door to the toilet/shower area had to be carved out so the handle of the shower door wouldn’t hit the door. Master bedroom sink was … one sink. One foot wider and

We stayed at an amazing house on the beach on St George Island. Collins Vacation Rentals were who we booked our vacation beach house through and they were amazing. Beautiful beach views, and the house was so nice and fully equipped. We just brought our food and a few extras. We had the best time. And anytime we needed anything they were on it.

Every summer our family of about 13 spends a week at St. George Island. This year we stayed at She Sells Sea Shells which is directly on the beach and has a private pool. It was wonderful to be able to access the beach so easily. The kids like to spend time on the beach, rinse off the sand then jump in the pool.
The house is an older house but kept up well with unique charm. Fenced in deck on the top floor with locked gates to keep the dog from getting out. There is a shaded area under the house and by the pool with chairs and swings.
It only 4 bedrooms and we usually like 5 but we made it work

We had a great vacation. We've rented beach homes for many years. The last 2 we've used rental companies and the personal touch is missing. I'm sure covid is a part of that.
They are cleaned and mostly well maintained. They have a maintenance staff on site that can help with any issues.
Our kitchen was well stocked with dishes however spices and that sort of things are no longer stocked. This is the first beach home we have rented and had zero Beach items available to use. We usually also leave a few items as well.
Also check in is not till 5:00. I understand the reasoning during a busy season

We recently stayed at the Ambassador on SGI for a week. Collins did a pretty good job at responding to our requests (oven didn’t work, septic alarm going off, coffee pot not working) checking in and out all smooth however the owner of this property has done little to nothing in updates since the place was built which I’m guessing was 1980-1990 time… frame. The home is well used and not in a good way. The location and layout of the house was perfect for 8 people but because they have not cared for the property it’s in need of a complete remodel in my opinion. Flooring needs

My mother & father-in-law had a reservation setup for the month of March, but he passed away unexpectedly. Collins cancelled the reservation, but refused to refund the money. Their customer service was appalling and entirely unhelpful. You should be ashamed of yourselves for keeping her money. Disgusting.
