From studio boxing/kickboxing to more intense training for enthusiasts and fighters looking to compete in the ring. Kim started training over 18 years ago in Boxing, MMA and Muay Thai with Mike.
She has always had a passion for combat sports as she found it to be the best work out for her mind and body. In 2019 Kim decided to open Southpaw Boxing to share her love with others as well as to hopefully introduce and empower woman within the sport. Outside of the gym Kim works as a nurse and loves spending time with her daughter and family.

Services
This Boxing/Kickboxing class is designed to teach technique. Develop your skills and sweat to achieve your physical and mental goals. We combine high intensity training and skills to challenge your body while engaging your mind. All fitness levels are welcomed. For this workout, we will work at a steady non-stop pace.
At Southpaw, our youth program is designed for ages 6-15. We teach real boxing skills in a safe and fun environment. Primary Bank is Celebrating their 5th Anniversary by Giving Back and are focused on strengthening the communities. We can't think of a better way to give back than to donate $30,000 to 5 nonprofit organizations. HDB is a a non-profit boxing gym that do so much good for the inner city kids in and Haverhill!

I can't recommend Southpaw enough to anyone who has either an interest in boxing or is just looking for a helluva workout. Outstanding gym with great owners in Kim & Mike, amazing trainers (I'll save space by saying, "all of 'em), and stellar programs. Southpaw is definitely worth crossing state lines on cold mornings to make a early class. Five stars ain't enough...

Kim, Mike and their crew instantly made me feel welcome and a part of Southpaw family. They offer a variety of classes 7 days a week lasting about an hour. Both my son and I joined in April 2021. We love the workouts! The trainers are all fantastic and make classes fun and challenging. Lots of times offered for classes both early morning and evenings. I have joined many gyms including boxing and kickboxing gyms and Southpaw is really an exceptional atmosphere!

Southpaw is truly just an amazing place! The staff is fantastic every workout pushes you to do better (Sunday morning bag drills). They make every effort to accommodate any request you may have. I would and have highly recommended the gym. There are great friendly people to workout with no matter which class you have chosen. I could not be happier with my choice to join.

Southpaw boxing... can't say enough! Staff is amazing, friendly and knowledgeable! They are cleaning and wiping down equipment constantly to ensure a safe training center. They motivate and push you to do your best! They strive for the best and treat you like family! I highly recommend giving them a shot! You won't regret it!

I joined to take part in the 2-month boot camp. It had been about 15 years since I took any organized exercise classes. At 51 I was concerned that I was too out of shape, I would be embarrassed and I would fail.
The instructors have been fantastic! They are very motivating and always offer alternate exercises for beginners and low impact. I started with knee push-ups and other short cuts but have been slowly working into the real versions of the exercises.
I had been playing pick up hockey for a few years which stalled due to COVID-19. We had started back up just prior to me joining Southpaw

Great gym with friendly and talented staff who make you feel welcome, always giving individual attention to each member. Variety of classes throughout the day, which accommodate all levels of fitness and experience. Several membership options to meet your goals - whether casual or occasional workouts or rigorous training for an amateur or professional match. Equipment and facilities well maintained. My son, Zack, started boxing at South Paw a few years ago. Kim and the entire staff have been amazing with him. They treat him like an adult, and inspire him to do his best. It's been a LONG time since Zack was motivated to stick to anything. Now, he can't wait to get to the studio and push himself to his limit. Thank you, South Paw, for helping my son get in shape, increasing his self-esteem, and, most of all, inspiring him to mature! I highly recommend South Paw!

As a trainer and amateur boxer I love that Southpaw focuses on form and throwing the punches the correct way in their classes. A lot of gyms will let members just throw which leads to misinformation and worse, injuries. Each class, trainers are instructing on the proper technique from what mechanics should be happening to where your glove should land on the bag. Not only does it make it safe for all members but it makes to easy for newer people to follow along.
