The owner may mix up your order to-go, especially if he’s talking with someone a bunch. Food is still hot and good.

Food is really good but they have supply and service issues. I placed an order at about 5pm on 11/10 and they were out of something. He called and while trying to figure out how to handle it the person on the line just said it was too complicated and to cancel my order. Extremely rude and unprofessional and canceled my order. I was not unreasonable, he just did not want to do his job today. I am hungry and upset.

They have a great deal for the lunch specials. Nothing spectacular but you can get a meal with Pita, salad and rice for under $9 is great. The owner working behind the counter is nice. If I’m in the area for lunch in the future, I’ll try some other dishes.

The owner is so kind. Today when it was very hot he was giving soda and water out to everyone who came in free!!! I love it here! The chicken kabob lunch special is my favorite. Nowhere in San Diego can you get anything like this..... it's actually filled a LOT of chicken and very unusual for specials... is that if you ask to substitute side dishes you can! Eg I don't want French fries and I often ask for double salad. Prices are fantastic!!!! I still would like to have the lamb shank. Every friend I have suggested this place to has loved it. Gyro good, beef kabob good, salad good, pita ok. Overall the flavor was appetizing. Friendly cashier.

Ordered on Uber eats, the restaurant asked the Uber driver how many in you’re order instead of asking for the name on the order. Uber driver showed up with one meal instead of three. Called the restaurant and they confirmed it was the wrong order told me to handle with Uber and that they will deliver said food but in reality Uber unfortunately doesn’t work that way. Giving them one star for the miscommunication unfortunately and not knowing to how to handle business properly.

This entire meal tasted of depression and perpetual sadness. Soggy pita bread and cold Basmati Rice, warm tomatoes... the list goes on.
I'm certain my meal was prepared even before it was ordered.
This was my second attempt to get a decent meal here... with another miserable fail.
I should have just eaten cereal and saved myself the food poisoning.

Nothing beats Med Cafe! I've been ordering from here for well over 8 years, and there's a reason for that! The food is super fresh and tasty. You can eat really light if you want (yummy chicken kebab or chicken Greek salad) or get heartier dishes like the stewed lamb shank. The tzatziki sauce is my favorite and I buy it by the pint so I always have some. Plus the owner is lovely, warm, kind, and welcoming. Talking with him always brightens my day. Who doesn't need that these days?

Delicious!!! I got the chicken shawarma with a super yummy garlic sauce over it and beef kabob plate. It was all so tasty. The service was very great, super friendly. Food takes time but it’s well worth it, just be patient! Will definitely be back here very soon! :)

Nice location, very accessible. Although not worth the travel from National City to eat charred beef skewer. Not the best. Will not recommend. Will not return to est. The Staff was very hospitable. Pay street parking. Restroom not clean.
