I usually get their latte and pastry which are pretty good. This weekend, decided to try their house coffee ( been on search for good coffee places to get coffee beans ), ordered Belgian waffles and house coffee.
The waffle plate look beautiful- lots of fresh fruits, wiped cream, it tastes okay, much better to look at than eat. The coffee was okay at best...i guess I will stick to their latte if need to ( there are so many other amazing coffee shops in the area).

Audrey helped with my order for our mini wedding cake, she was patient with the many questions and changes we made along the way. I simply asked for a naked cake and some white flowers, I wasn't specific at all (which were free of charge ) and trusted in them and they produced the prettiest cake I could have asked for. Definitely recommend the lavender lemon blueberry cake, it was a huge hit and I still crave it weekly.

Frost Me is a nice "go to" local bakery/coffee shop in Little Italy.

Pros:
*Delicious pastries: particularly their croissants, scones, cupcakes
*Good service - friendly staff

Cons:
*Their coffee drinks are hit & miss, so I stick with the cold brew or Americano when I order coffee here.
*There is typically a line out the door, and you have to wait a while

Audrey helped me put together a delicious arrangement of desserts for our company team building event. Everyone loved it! The fruit tartlets and Carmel dulce cheesecake were my favs. Oh and the peanut butter chocolate dipped cookie!

Super cute ambience and very friendly staff. We only stopped in for mimosas and the price was right.
Definitely would try their pastries next time. If the food tastes like the decor looks, then we should be in business!

Frost Me has the best pastries! We tried them out when looking for bakeries for our wedding desserts and we fell in love! I contacted Audrey and she made it so easy to place an order and make my dream cake and cupcakes! Our cake was exactly what we wanted and all of cupcakes were delicious. All of our guests raved about how good they were! We are from out of town and Frost Me will always be a place to visit! Thank you Frost Me for making our day stress free and that much sweeter!

A SOLID cafe right in the heart of Little Italy!

We swung by around 2pm on Saturday to a busy crowd and a small line to this cafe. The cashier was super sweet and friendly helping us out with questions and recommendations.

We ordered the Mexican Mocha, Matchata Late, pumpkin pecan maple scone and a blueberry cream cheese danish.

The mocha had a good kick to it with the warm cinnamon blending it together on top.

The matchata was delicious! It was a matcha and chai latte combined into one. The warmth of a chai mixed with the refreshing matcha was the perfect combo.

The scone was dense, chewy

Firstly - super thank you to the wonderful team here. They are extremely nice and super joyful. Being in the services industry isn't the easiest and they definitely make the best of it.

The Lavander Vanilla Latte (iced or cold) is super soothing and has an amazing taste. They do it right and you can taste it.

I originally ordered the California Bagel, but they didn't have avocado initially so they were kind enough to sub for a different ingredient of my choice. The bagel, as simple as you may think, was very tasty and a great mix of fresh ingredients.

As a kicker, once they got avocados

Such a cute place! We only came for mimosas, but also got a cookie and some coffee. Wow, so good. And the staff is so nice. I like how you can sit inside or outside with your order. I would love to go back and try more on their menu for brunch!

Frost Me Cafe is centrally located in the heart of Little Italy. They have many gluten free options, both for main dishes and desserts. Really enjoy their quiches - they are made daily and offer a vegetarian and meat option.

Wish list: many of their vegetarian sandwiches are not allowed to be modified, meaning the bread options can't be changed to gluten free options. Would be nice to have the option to make vegetarian sandwiches to be made with gluten free bread.

While I was waiting in a 2 hour wait for a restaurant in the are I deduced to stop in for a snack. I choose this Delicious chocolate croissant and a iced coffee. The bakery was full of delicious baked goods. Wish I would have been able to fit more in. They also have a full bar and the coffee was strong!
The cafe is super cute and the staff was friendly.
Can't wait to return to San Diego and check out more baked goods

My husband and I stopped here to grab a coffee and a chocolate croissant before actually having brunch and this place is a winner! Best chocolate croissant I've ever had - make sure you ask for it heated and the selection of lattes and coffee was superb. A must stop!

I love this place. They serve one favorite ritual coffee from SF here. Need to get my fix every time I am in town.
The barista is very skilled here too. Obviously trained by ritual.

I haven't tried anything else but they all look delicious.

What do you get when you mix a grapefruit mimosa and hella cupcakes in the morning? A damn good time (and one helluva sugar high).

THE DIGS:

This TINY joint had all the makings of a quaint, little cafe with bar and 4-table seating inside, although not falling short of ample outdoor alternatives. It's modern interior and white tile wall is what you'd expect to see for a place like Little Italy. I also believe it houses the elevator for tenants that live in the apartments above it which, I'm sure comes at a huge advantage for anyone craving a morning or midday pick me up.

One stop shop for everything! You can grab wine, coffee, pastries and small bites and enjoy them indoors or out on the cute patio. We grabbed a cortado and sparkling lemonade, both of which were awesome! I loved my lemonade, it wasn't too sweet and was perfectly tart. I would love to come back and try some pastries.

Every now and then you run across a hidden gem. Today was my day I guess.

Looking for food breakfast close to my hotel and as usual my fellow Yelpers made it easy. Great reviews of Frost Me Cafe for a reason.

I got there a few minutes after opening on a weekday. So friendly as soon as I walked in the door. Love it when the staff really enjoys their job. It shows.

The cases of fresh pastries is just as good as the smell of great coffee. I chose a breakfast sandwich on bagel and had to try a pastry. So I picked the cream cheese/raspberry one. To be honest when I saw them out the bagel sandwich

I was in little Italy getting tacos at Not Not Tacos and thought I'd get a few cupcakes for the family.

I picked out the lemon strawberry cupcakes and the chocolate peanut butter ones.

The bakery also has a coffee shop.

I ordered the cupcakes as I waited for my tacos.

Little Italy has a nice choice of restaurants and there is a big outdoor seating area.

We found the lemon strawberry cupcakes to have great flavor and texture to them.

The chocolate peanut butter ones were a little bit dry. The flavor was good.

I'll be trying other items from here next time I'm in town

This hip coffee shop is located in the beautifully well designed Piazza Della Famiglia in the heart of Little Italy, San Diego!

I'm not usually a coffee drinker out in town as to where I prefer to drink coffee at my house from my Keurig but I was in the area and wanted a change and wow I second thought myself as I quickly sipped my fist sip from a classic large coffee. This place is nicely put together and sell your typical coffee drinks along with yummy pastries and snacks. Service was quick and coffee was hot and fresh with a nice bold robust hickory flavor where I enjoyed the savory taste

A friend of mine bought a house so we were invited to dinner, and I had planned on making a dessert when I thought, "Why work yourself so hard?" Since it was a special occasion I felt a special cake was in order and I immediately thought of Frost Me.

Him and his girlfriend are big Raider fans, so when asked about decorations, I told them I'd seen a design for the Falcons, and if they could do a Raider design. Audrey and her team did not disappoint! And we ate the most delicious cake in San Diego: lavender lemon blueberry. The design was so cool, they cut around it and saved
