If your glasses fall off your nose or they break easily, it could mean that you're wearing the wrong frames for your face. Our New Vision Optical Boutique in Wilmette, IL explains the importance of glasses frame selection and choosing the right one for your lifestyle and face shape. You might need frames made of materials that will not bend or twist while playing sports.
Wearing the right eyewear will help save your eyes from strain and overuse. That's why we offer our patients specialized lenses like polarized glasses. Polarized lenses are a type of lens coating on certain sunglasses and eyeglasses designed to help reduce glare and improve visual clarity. They can be especially useful when engaging in sporting activities like skiing, fishing, or other outdoor activities.
The sun's warming radiance is essential for life on Earth -- but that same energy also has the potential to do harm, especially to the delicate tissues of the human eye. If you're looking for that ideal combination of visual clarity, glare protection, and complete filtering of damaging ultraviolet radiation, look no further than New Vision Optical Wilmette.

I gave this 2 stars because the shop has a nice display and a helpful person named Pat. I went in with a RX and frames and was quoted twice as much as I've ever spent on glasses including frames. They were not busy and I was surprised that they would let a customer walk out when they could have made at least $250 and knowing my doctor had suggested this place. I went to Sam's Club Optical and was able to purchase new glasses and new frames at 1/2 the cost New Vision Optical wanted.
