I don't live in the Houston area, so Elvira went out of her way to help me deliver a black forest cake for my friend's birthday. I wish all businesses provided this level of quality (I heard that the cake was delicious! ;) ), and were committed to outstanding customer service! A rare combination these days. I can't recommend Roland's highly enough.

I wouldn’t recommend this bakery to anyone. If your booked then please advise your staff to tell your customers, they would appreciate the honesty. I tried to get in contact with anyone that could help me book a consultation, the receptionist first stated the the chef is on a vacation when I called back a week later she asked me to send an email of the cake never heard back. Called the bakery again and she stated that they received the email and the chef called me back (which is not true I’ve been waiting for a response back and I never got one) I was asked to send another email because they

There is no other place in town I would go for my family’s large party cakes. The staff and owner care so much for their clients and every cake is made with love. The taste is superb in every bite. I always get compliments about the cake from my guests. Thank you Roland’s bakery for putting a smile on my face every time. Just impressive!

If you want a wedding cake or a birthday cake, this is the place to go to. Gerhard is the kindest man and he loves what he does. He’ll sit with you and fully understand the design of the cake you want and he will do exactly what you want. You can NOT beat his prices. He will also deliver it to your door step or even if you need. Send him a picture of what you need and he’ll match it. They also have a wide selection of delicious cookies. I highly recommend this business and wish them more success!

Love this place, best cakes in town. I ordered several cakes over the past years and all of them are really good, best in my opinion is the black forest cake. Once I needed a special frosting and decoration on the cake for a baby shower, and it looked amazing, they made it even better than I described it. Prices are fair. I can only recommend it.

We had a wedding and no idea of what type of cake we wanted. Gerhardt was referred to us by a colleague. When we got there, he had brilliant ideas. He drew them out and was very enthusiastic and very easy to work with. His prices were half of any others, with zero compromise on quality. We tasted a few samples. Then we decided with a cake which was delivered promptly and set up before the wedding reception . I very highly recommend Roland's Swiss bakery.
