Excelsior International Academy (Excelsior) is a childcare center aimed at providing young children ages one to five years with educational growth and development in a safe, explorative and nurturing environment. Emphasis is placed on proven traditional curricular and effective learning technologies to support learning opportunities that are fun, exciting, engaging and rewarding for all children.
Services
Thank you for entrusting us with your childcare needs because caring for a child is a responsibility we take very seriously. As we embark on this new journey, it is our goal to provide a safe, loving and nurturing environment that emphasizes the development of key knowledge, skills and abilities in all of our children.
Drop-in/part-time care refers to occasional care lasting no more than 4 hours each day, and it is expected to occur on an as needed basis. This service is available only when space permits. Due to licensed enrollment limits, space may not always be available. For Drop-in Care, to determine if space is available, call the main office or speak with the Director 24 hours in advance of the date you require this service.
The FREE Voluntary Pre-kindergarten (VPK) program focuses on preparing four year olds for kindergarten and beyond. Pre-reading, pre-math, language and social skills are just a few of the components that have been built into the curriculum for this age children. VPK education is FREE to Excelsior's four year olds.
Excelsior's Private Kindergarten program offers five full days of in-person learning designed to help children develop pertinent knowledge, skills and abilities to excel in first grade and beyond. Our small class sizes and low teacher-to-student ratio foster individualized learning that promote literacy.
Summer camp is an additional program that services children ages 5 to 12. The goal of this program is to provide educational opportunities and extracurricular activities for children during the summer months. While this program acts as a refresher course for students, it also provides our children an opportunity to enjoy themselves.

The director, teachers and staff are top notch. It’s the best feeling to leave your child at a school knowing that the teachers are happy to be there, and ultimately creating a positive environment and experience for both students and teachers. Their individualized approach, patience and genuine care and attention is also amazing. I am not a teacher by any means, but I know that my son thrives and learns here because I see it when I pick him up.

Excellent care. The teachers and caregivers are well experienced and the children love the learning techniques used.
Finding a preschool can be a difficult thing to do.
Knowing that one must pass through at least 2 levels of security to reach their child brings peace of mind.
We rest easy knowing our little guy is in the hands of those who truly care for his well being.
He loves to talk about all he is learning and has so many friends here.
My deepest gratitude to Ms. Shantel for running a fine program.

Our son started going to Excelsior International Academy in February of 2017. The teachers are very caring and kind. The school policies are the best, you will never see this at a different school: you have a vacation time, the food is provided, and prices are very good. Ms. Shantell is a wonderful person, she has a great energy and she accomplishes things in a right way. Always fare and very professional.
Thank you Excelsior!

I had a bad experience no body wants to tell you the truth when your asking about whats hapening with your child. Sometime i go to pick up my son i found the front door open and no body is there i was being always scared that god forbidden someone strange can get in there.. i appreciate that they took care of my son but its way too far from what i expected to get from a day care for my first child.

If you looking for a safe place where to leave your kid at. Think 1000 times before you choose Excelsior academy.
No one heard from a daycare owner that baby can be released to a the parent that not suppose to have the child that day, and in top of that without letting the responsible person know.
Checked with my colleague_ with other daycares. No one heard about a similar rules.
IAM not going to talk about how they leave kids watching Tv in the morning.this is something that I am pretty much parent saw it.
I don't have anything against the employee, they doing their best.
But their rules are
