Lewis Home Inspection located in Mt. Sterling Kentucky is owned and operated by Stanley Lewis. Stan, has a vast knowledge of over 35 years in performing maintenance to utility systems, overseeing construction projects and a home inspector. His work history includes 25 years with the US Department Of Justice (DOJ), 5 years in the US Navy (SEABEES) and four years as a home inspector.
A home inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of a residential dwelling performed for compensation by a licensed home inspector which is designed to identify observed material defects within specific components of the home, for the purpose of providing a professional opinion. It is intended to assist in the overall evaluation of the home.
In both new and older homes the best way to ensure that you are well informed about the strengths and weaknesses of a property is to have us give you a professional home inspection. I am trained to identify problem areas both large and small that may have been overlooked by the previous owners and to identify which require immediate attention.
We use HomeGauge Software Services to give you the highest quality home inspection report that you may access from your laptop, tablet or smartphone. Your home inspection report will include a detailed list of all our comments and photos, along with an interactive tool unique to HomeGauge called Create Request List.
Lewis Home Inspection, fees are dependent upon the location, age, size and the complexity of the home. We take into consideration the amount of time necessary, typically three to five hours to provide a comprehensive inspection and deliver a clear and concise report. If you want a thorough home inspection with great customer service, great communication, and honesty--then you need to get Stan to do your home inspections. He is very knowledgeable and always finds issues that I overlook. Whenever I need an inspection on a property, I know who I am calling! There are no "cutting corners" with Lewis Home Inspection.

We had Stanley inspect the home we have under contract. We live several states away which made this inspection very important to us. He sent us an amazingly thorough report with numerous photos. He spent 45 minutes on the phone with us going over every detail and answering all of our questions. My husband and I highly recommend Lewis Home Inspection. Stan was very friendly, professional and informative. But the most important thing I want to share is he is very knowledgeable and has a good eye for noticing details. He seen things wrong with the home that we did not see at first. His report was able to give us the real status of the house and now we know all things that need to be repaired up front. I am so glad Stan helped us with this major investment.
