Often times being seen for low back pain can lead to expensive imaging. We often have patients who believe imaging will help to determine the cause of their problems. While this seems self evident, the reality is that x-rays and MRIs have poor reliability in determining causes of back pain. They also add significant cost to care.
Individuals seeking care for low back pain who go to physical therapy save a significant amount of money and can get an accurate examination to address their problem. Health Services Research published a study for cost of care spanning 1 year from physical therapy referral vs MRI in people with low back pain.

I suffered from a multitude bilateral strength and mobility issues which were manifesting in knee pain. This was apparent especially in trail running and post-run recovery. Ready Up Performance carefully dissected my complex case with detail and personalization. Over a series of well thought out treatment plans, my strength, form, flexibility, and muscle memory were uniquely challenged and I saw visible change. The end result not only removed the issues of pain but created a lifelong set of exercises and methodologies I can take with me stay injury free.

Dr. Bill Hesse is very knowledgeable and patient. You never feel rushed. He takes his time to explain his methods and actions. I have had more than several dry needling procedures at Ready Up Performance and they have helped in releasing the tight muscles in my back. He also provides options and different techniques for exercises and performance. I highly recommend Ready Up Performance.

I had a great experience with Ready Up Performance! I would highly recommend Dr. Bill. I originally came to therapy for a hamstring injury. He put me at ease about my injury, gave me hope and clear informational rehab plan. Even after Healing I still came about for needling and other sports related training. Dr. Bill is very knowledgable!!

As a result of repetitive movements at work, I had been suffering from tendinitis in my hands and wrists. I decided to seek medical attention when Aleve and ibuprofen no longer helped alleviate my pain.
Dr. Hesse taught me at home exercises which utilized resistance bands and therapy putty. After keeping up with my personally tailored exercise regimen at home for about one week, my pain was virtually gone.
Prior to my visit with Dr. Hesse, I was very skeptical about physical therapy in general. After experiencing, first hand, it’s benefits I would recommend Ready Up Performance to my closest

The facility is clean, but welcoming. Bill has proven himself to be an outstanding and knowledgeable Physical Therapist who made smart recommendations for my work environment to help reduce my back pain. He also offers dry needling services which have really helped my surgical scars to shrink and fade. I would and always recommend his clinic.

Bill is nothing but professional! He has the patient’a recovery and rehabilitation status as the focus of his treatment plan. His goal is functional movement within your personal life and work environment. Any exercises and workouts are catered to the person and not just a cookie cutter workout plan based on a diagnosis. He is always available, easy to talk to, and easy to get ahold of.
