My Father received care at this facility recently. Initially we had some concerns. The building needs updating, it's nothing fancy, and some of the staff, while courteous, are not overly friendly. However, our concerns were addressed by the Social Worker, Kimberly Dillard, who went above and beyond to put our concerns to rest. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and easy to talk too, she even called after my Dad was home just to check on him!

My father didn't receive the proper care at all. Our complaints were never addressed and the problems continued. I Had to get my father out of that horrible facility and I hope others here me out and never put there loved ones in their care. If you have any loved ones at shaker Gardens, please find better care for them. Also, upon my arrival to pick my father up I was treated horribly by a women who claimed to be administration. Her name was "DEBORAH EARL." She was totally unprofessional and came out of character. instead of her yelling and screaming at me, she could've offered her help. Deborah

Plsase don't send your loved ones here! Also my uncle recently passed, who was a resident here unfortunately and my poor 90 year old grandmother has been waiting for a refund for almost 2 months and no one returns her calls. REALLY? Medicaid paid the entire balance for a 10 day stay and she has yet to receive her refund for thousands of dollars even though the balance due was paid before he even arrived at the facility. Having to deal with this along with losing her only son is disheartening to say the least. I know its a damn pandemic, but this so unprofessional and they answer the phone line

PATIENTS SITTING IN URINATED GOWNS AND PADS BECAUSE THEY DONT CLEAN LINIAN, NO SHEETS ON BED, HAVE TO SLEEP IN A WHEEL CHAIR ALL NIGHT, REAL NICE FOR A WOMAN WITH M.S., STAY AWAY FROM EMBASSY NURSING HOMES! THE SMELL OF POT IN ASST. LIVING HALLS, SMOKING POT ON PATIO, MORE SO AT NIGHT, DRINKING ALCOHOL ON PATIO ETC., RIDICULOUS
